'Getting my strength back!' Yolanda Hadid poses in a swimsuit as she takes a 'healing' break in Tahiti

She's officially changed her name back to Yolanda Hadid.

And the former Mrs Foster certainly seems to be flourishing with the return to her previous moniker, posting yet another triumphant picture of herself in her swimsuit on Thursday.

Sharing a snap as she climbed onto a wooden deck after a spot of snorkelling in the ocean, the former model showed just where her famous daughters get their good looks.

'Conditioning, rebuilding and getting my strength back one day at a time,' wrote the mother-of-three.

She tagged her post: '#Healing #Ocean #Tahiti #MyHealthJourney'.

Yolanda's battle to recover from a debilitating chronic infection with Lyme Disease has occupied much of her thoughts and energy for the last few years.

But it seems the 52-year-old Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star is making every effort to savour life, despite her illness.

The reality TV star - who is the mother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid - has just announced that she will release Believe Me: My Battle With the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease, which details her life since her 2012 diagnosis, in February 2017.

On the cover her name is stated as Yolanda Hadid - with the former model returning to the name she used during her first marriage.

Her publishers St. Martin’s Press said in a statement: 'While doctors continued to dismiss her pain and friends debated about her health diagnosis, Yolanda realised her mission and higher purpose of her journey is to use her newfound platform to educate, and bring awareness to the stigma surrounding chronic Lyme in order to bring hope to other sufferers who have been misdiagnosed and battling the invisible disability of chronic disease in general.'

Yolanda's children Bella and Anwar have also been diagnosed with the disease and she previously claimed her diagnosis changed the 'dynamic' of her relationship with husband David Foster - who she split from in December.

She said: 'We had a beautiful love story that I will treasure forever. Unfortunately, it was not strong enough to withstand the circumstances that came our way.

'Chronic, long-term illness is extremely challenging. Not only for the person sick but also for the caregiver. It for sure changed the dynamic of the relationship.

'The truth is that we both worked through the difficult time through the best of our ability, so rather than judging what went wrong, I pick to remember the great times that we shared the last nine years. There was a wealth of good times.'
