They say a break-up can be a powerful motivator.

So that might explain why Sophie Falkiner has taken to a strenuous work-out regime - and she proved it when she flaunted her enviable curves in gym gear during an outing in Bondi followed by a workout selfie on Friday. 

The 41-year-old blonde beauty, who recently split from her husband Tony Thomas after 14-years of marriage, was joined by a group of friends after their sweat session at F45 Training at Bondi Junction.

The TV presenter put on a busty display in a bright green singlet top teamed with a pair of figure-hugging yoga pants which showed off her pert derriere.

The star also sported black trainers and a checkered bag that was slung across her shoulder.

Showing off a golden tan, Sophie appeared to be wearing light make-up including dewy foundation and lip gloss.

Her long locks were tied off her face into a low ponytail. 

After her strenuous workout, the blonde made sure to spend her free time shopping.

She was seen looking at fashionable threads while giggling and talking to her friends.  

Later that day, the former The Great Outdoors host took to Instagram to share a a picture of herself performing a difficult exercise move.

'Training is always more fun, when you do it with mates,' she captioned the shot of herself and her friends doing push-ups off kettlebell weights.

On Saturday, she helped Woolworths to promote their new range of hot cross buns ahead of Easter celebrations. 

She told the Daily Mail that Easter was a very 'special time of year' for her family. 

'We love getting together and enjoying a few Easter treats together especially hot cross bun,' she said.  

'Every year we have a big family lunch, plus a fun Easter egg hunt out in the garden with all the kids. There is a steady stream of constant eating and laughing throughout the day and my children always count down the days.'

In November, Sophie announced her split from her husband of 14 years, Tony Thomas.

They were together for a total of 16 years and share two children, daughter Isabella, 10, and son Jack, 6.

Recently, she has been spotted enjoying night outs at some of Sydney's premier and star-studded events.

She opened up to Daily Mail Australia about her split at the David Jones Autumn/Winter 2016 launch in Sydney.

‘We’re keeping very amicable, the kids come first and I think under the circumstances we’re doing very well,' she said.

Adding: ‘I think after 16 years of friendship… you can’t put that to bed. We’ll always remain friends.’
