Her cousin posted a picture of the heartbreaking sight of Hallee eating cake alone at a table on Facebook, writing: 'Hallee sat at her party anxiously waiting for her friends to arrive so they could have fun....but Hallee's friends would never arrive. Not a single one.' With Hallee's next birthday approaching, her cousin is hoping the post will inspire well-wishers to send her cards to make her 19th birthday much happier.

A kangaroo and a pig have been pictured cosying up to each other in the lonely Australian Outback near Alice Springs, in the Northern Territory. Pictures taken by a Sydney student on a research trip show the two animals getting intimate (main and inset), but locals confirmed it was not a one-time fling. The farmer who owns the pig said the animals had 'been in a relationship for a year' and that he hasn't been able to split them up. The couple wasn't alone in the paddock during their intimate moment, with two geese transfixed by the X-rated spectacle.

Andy Page, one of the country's most well-respected female bodybuilders, was only just getting back into training following an injury and was trying to get her fitness back before her sudden death at the weekend. Tributes are pouring in for the 32-year-old (left, right) sports model and nutritionist, who often promoted healthy eating and nutritional supplements (inset) on her website and social media pages. Ms Page died in her sleep after reportedly feeling a 'pain in her side'. Friends firmly dismissed any suggestion she used drugs or steroids, saying she 'was not at all the type'. The largest wave ever recorded in New South Wales was measured during violent storms that lashed Australia's east coast - smashing the previous record by several metres. The wave measuring 17.7 metres in height - as tall as a six storey apartment building - was recorded off the coast of Eden, on the state's far south coast at 4.30am on Monday. The wave surpassed the previous record measured in April last year, when a Sydney buoy recorded a 14.9 metre wave. NEW Cattle farmer Graeme Ware (inset), 66, was gored and trampled by a wild bull on his property in outback Queensland before his son ran into the aggressive animal on a quad bike (main) at high speed, breaking its neck. NEW Emmah Money, 28, from Adelaide, Australia, was born with the chronic illness and doctors warned she probably wouldn't live past the age of five and, if she did, she'd be unlikely to fall pregnant. Miraculously, in 2013, Emmah gave birth to Ayvah, three, and her second child, Logan, was born in July last year. Emmah said: 'I've always wanted to be a mum but I never thought I could have children, so to have two babies naturally, I feel truly blessed.'

A man who spent fourteen years in the police force has defended the actions of two officers who opened fire on a mentally ill man as he ran around a busy shopping centre wielding a large knife. The two officers have faced criticism for shooting Jerry Sourian(right) in the stomach after the 23-year-old allegedly lunged at them with a large carving knife at a shopping centre in Horsnby on Thursday. Sourian was hit three times but three women aged between 60 and 80 were also caught in the crossfire and were hospitalised with bullet wounds. Questions have been raised about whether officers should have used a taser or capsicum spray to subdue Sourian but former police officer Trent Southworth (inset) said they were completely justified as the man was a threat not only to them but the innocent shoppers who surrounded him.

French police have reportedly had to use tear gas on English fans in the southern city of Marseille after violent clashes broke out after supporters started singing: 'ISIS, where are you?'. Trouble flared outside an Irish pub in the Old Port of the southern city just before midnight on Thursday, apparently between English fans drinking there and locals. Officers used tear gas to try and break up the brawl, and riot police with shields arrived to separate the two groups. Ambulances were seen arriving just after midnight. England supporters were pictured on Thursday getting their month-long tournament underway with a hearty day's drinking in the summer sun.

Disgraced blogger, Belle Gibson (left), who claimed to have cured her terminal cancer, has been given one last chance to file a defence against a Federal Court action by Victoria's consumer watchdog. Gibson made more than half a million dollars after claiming to have cured her illness with natural remedies which she published online, in a book and on an app called The Whole Pantry (inset). In several interviews, including an interview on 60 minutes with Tara Brown, last year Gibson (right) continued to make false claims when caught in her web of lies.

Namibian sea kayak instructor Naude Dreyer saw a young dolphin stuck on the sand (left) and decided to give him a hand. He was filmed carefully scooping the dolphin up (top right) and taking him back to sea (bottom right) by a friend. The young Benguela dolphin took a moment to recognise his surroundings before flapping his tail as if to say goodbye and taking off into the ocean.

Tovonna Holton (left), a freshman at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel, took her own life just hours after the video circulated on Snapchat. The 15-year-old had taken a gun from her mother's purse and shot herself in the bathroom of her home on Sunday. Her mother, Levon Holton-Teamer (right), said that she had sent her daughter to clean her room that afternoon and a little while later, went looking for her. She broke down as she revealed how she desperately tried to save her daughter's life after finding her on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood. Tovonna's aunt, Angel Scott, took to Facebook looking for answers. 'The kids started inboxing me,' she said. 'Everybody was out there talking about her and calling her names and they said it went up on social media, Snapchat.'

On the rooftop of an empty building in Zagreb, Dino Helvida carefully pierces his client Kaitlin's torso, legs and face before putting hooks through her skin. Once Kaitlin is ready, he suspends her from a metallic frame, leaving her heavily tattooed body dangling horizontally in the air.

Cassie Borcherding, a photographer in the US, has staged a photo shoot for the family kitten named Elsa.The adorable pictures of Elsa show her inside a basket, wrapped up in a baby blanket with a floral garland around her head (left and right) and inside a baby pram (inset). The shoot, in the style of renowned newborn photographer Anne Geddes, has had over six thousand likes and 14 thousand shares on Facebook. Sadly the kitten has now gone missing after slipping out of her collar on Sunday. 'This is quite a bitter sweet moment for myself, i wish she was here to share all the excitement with (and of course do more photoshoots)' Ms Borcherding wrote on Facebook.

Simmons pumping iron went viral last Thursday, and now the man who helped achieve the amazing results has come forward to discuss how they did it.  After the picture went viral, 36-year-old trainer Aaron Williamson explained to the New York Daily News how his 61-year-old Hollywood veteran client managed to get so muscular. 'He's doing such a good job of being disciplined and staying dedicated to doing something he hasn't done before with his physique,' said Aaron, 'he's ripped.'

Italian model Roberta Mancini, 35, flies over a volcano in Chile before deploying her parachute and landing safely. The 35-year-old Italian bombshell, who has modeled for magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Maxim, straps GoPros to her body as she makes the death-defying leap from a helicopter. With barely a hint of fear the daredevil soars over Chile's Villarrica stratovolcano in a bright red wingsuit. Mancino has performed more than 7,000 skydives - some of them naked, according to RT.

Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros, 30, and Katyucia Hoshino, 26, from Brazil, both have forms of dwarfism. They measure 34.8in and 35.2in respectively. The pair, who hope to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, said they met on a social media website ten years ago and started chatting on MSN Messenger. They now live together and say that they are just like any other couple - despite their small stature meaning they struggle to use cash machines, public bathrooms and reach for the buffet at their favourite restaurants.

Catapulting towards the camera, the bird was captured by wildlife photographer Brian Kushner in his back-garden in Audubon, New Jersey and the snapper could not help but see the likeness to the feathered characters from the much-loved computer game. Brian, 55, said: 'This happened completely by surprise. I wasn't even sure that I'd captured the shot. As soon as I saw the picture I was reminded of Angry Birds. Everything about it reminds me of it.'

A snake catcher in Queensland has filmed the moment a snake he was trying to release turned on him and made several attempts to strike him. The catcher says he's seen a spike in calls for help after many snakes were displaced by heavy rain over the weekend.

Distressed elephants fastened to the floor and rocking back and forth have been videoed at Phuket Zoo in Thailand. The performing elephants are being kept in 'disgraceful' conditions, according to visitors, and there have been calls for tourists to boycott the wildlife centre . The elephants worked in the jungle hauling logs before arriving at the private zoo where they perform for visitors.

The one-minute YouTube video sees the child happily giving her bemused dad a detailed explanation about the chalk drawings on their front stoop. According to the child, the images are renderings of a family of giraffes. However, her father notices that they look a bit more graphic in nature than she had intended.
