Kanye West turned 39-years-old on Wednesday.

And his wife Kim Kardashian was quick to post a gushing note along with a photo of the two kissing on her social media sites.

The 35-year-old star wrote on kimkardashianwest.com: 'Happy birthday to my best friend!'

She added: 'I usually would be scared for us to get older, but as each year passes, I'm just happy we have more time on this Earth together!

'I love you so much and hope this year brings you much happiness.'

The E! siren also shared a collage of photos of the two in several PDAs, including kissing, holding hands, licking each other and grabbing one another.
