Chronically ill Yolanda Hadid's new book will explore her fight with 'invisible enemy' Lyme disease

Yolanda Hadid will continue to share with the world her fight against Lyme disease in a brand new book she will be releasing in winter of next year, according to a new report.

ET Online reported on Wednesday that the 52-year-old's upcoming book, entitled Believe Me: My Battle With the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease, will chronicle her battle through 'words and pictures'.

The model-turned-reality star, whose project will land on bookshelves in February 2017, was diagnosed with the debilitating disease in 2012.

The book cover sees Yolanda cuddling a pup as she wears a delicate lace top and leggings.

In a statement about the book for the website, publisher St. Martin's Press said the reality star has found her calling in educating others on the impact of the disease.

'While doctors continued to dismiss her pain and friends debated her health diagnosis, Yolanda realized her mission and higher purpose of her journey is to use her newfound platform to educate, and bring awareness to the stigma surrounding chronic Lyme in order to bring hope to other sufferers who have been misdiagnosed and battling the invisible disability of chronic disease in general,' read the statement.

Yolanda has not fought Lyme disease in silence, sharing posts of herself receiving treatment and discussing her health struggles on her reality show, The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, where some of her co-stars questioned the severity of her illness.

She also revealed last year that two of her children, Bella and Anwar Hadid, have been diagnosed with the disease.

Lyme disease is an infection caused by bacteria spread by the bite of an infected deer tick. Symptoms include pain in the muscles or joints, fever, malaise, and chronic fatigue.

No definitive treatment or cure for the illness has been found.

Yolanda's health crisis took a toll on her marriage to music mogul David Foster and the couple announced their split in December 2015 after four years of marriage.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star seems to be doing just fine enjoying the single life since divorcing the music producer back in December.
