She is a doting mother to two kids.

And the first thing Alessandra Ambrosio did after returning from New York's CFDA Awards was spend some quality time with her three-year-old son Noah.

The adorable duo were spotted on Wednesday going to a party supplies store together in the Los Angeles neighbourhood of Santa Monica.

The two could be seen holding hands as they arrived to the shop filled with fun kid friendly supplies.

The supermodel looked to be on the hunt as she perused various party favors and balloons.

But the duo appeared to have made their choices as they were later seen carrying fun balloons.

The 35-year-old is engaged to Jamie Mazur and in addition to Noah they share daughter Anja, seven.

Alessandra - who has dated Jamie since 2008 - appeared in good spirits as her film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows premiered on Friday.

The stunner plays herself in the action movie as Will Arnett's character's girlfriend, although the box office numbers disappointed with $35.3 million over the weekend. 

The first movie in the rebooted reptilian franchise debuted to an impressive $65.6 million in 2014. 

Paramount shelled out $135 million on the pizza-munching superheroes.

Now it's only hope of recouping that budget is the Turtles' global performance.

The action movie amassed another $34 million in 40 countries, including Russia, Mexico and the UK, and has still to open in other territories, such as China.
