With his hipster hair and rugged, manly chest, it's little wonder why Perrie Edwards has just confessed to thinking Dougie Poynter is 'pretty cute.'

The McFly singer joined the stars at a Tommy Hilfiger dinner during London Collections: Men on Saturday, just as his rumoured new love interest was being questioned about their connection.

It's been four days since Dougie and Little Mix's Perrie appeared 'inseparable' in one corner of Tuesday's Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

'He's cute': Dougie Poynter turned out for the Tommy Hilfiger and Dylan Jones dinner to celebrate London Collections Men SS17 on Saturday night... just as rumoured flame Perrie Edwards spoke out about him

'Dougie's lovely, he's a good mate. He is pretty cute yeah,' Perrie told The Sun on Saturday as she performed across town at Wembley Stadium, London for the Capital FM Summertime Ball.

Of their reported tryst, a source told MailOnline earlier this week: 'They were pretty inseparable at the [Glamour Awards] after show.

'Dougie, 28, was with Perrie, 22, for ages looking cosy. He didn't leave her side towards the end of the night.'

Dougie was left heartbroken when he split from his last pop princess girlfriend, Ellie Goulding, 29, in March and Perrie has remained single after splitting from former fiancé Zayn Malik.

But from one boyband singer to another, Dougie's mind was focussed on fashion this weekend as he put in yet another appearance at LC:M.

Joining him on the night were a host of dapper chaps, including Olivia Palermo's husband Johannes Huebl and Pixie Lott's boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.

Known for his fashion know-how Britain's Next Top Model judge Paul Sculfor was also looked slick in a smart suit and tie.

Meanwhile, the man himself was sure to make an appearance, since fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger spent time mingling with his guests
