Bravo! Alicia Keys brings down the house performing on Italian TV show in colourful head tie

She recently sang at the opening of the UEFA Champions League final.

But Alicia Keys' stay in Europe isn't over yet, as she appeared on Italian television show Che Tempo che Fa in Milan on Saturday.

The 35-year-old songstress appeared to have a ball on the fast-paced program, on which she performed songs In Common and Hallelujah from her upcoming untitled album.

For her performance, the world famous recording artist donned a black blouse with a white squiggly line pattern and a black leather jacket.

She paired the former with some giant black baggy pants and black lace-up platform heels.

An eye-catching, very visually appealing head tie added a fun splash of colour, while a pair of large silver hoop earrings added just a dash of bling.

It appeared the singer was practicing what she recently preached, opting to go mostly makeup free for the appearance.

She is the cover star of this month's upcoming Fault magazine in which she shuns Photoshop and over the top makeup for a stunning stripped back shoot.

Alicia - who also recently released makeup-free press photographs - told the magazine she finds fault in herself for striving for perfection when, in actual fact, everyone is imperfect and that is what makes them beautiful.

The star said: 'I'm learning to try and let go of the word ''perfection''. It's not real and it's a word that tears us down. There is no way to be perfect and no fun in being perfect. You can't be happy unless you let yourself be vulnerable and make mistakes because we're always evolving. No one knows it all and I damn sure don't know it all!'

Speaking on self-love, she continued: 'I force myself to look in the mirror and own who I am and to own MY beautiful. So what that I have breakouts or so what that my knees are pudgy, there simply is no perfect.

'Once I can teach myself that there is no perfect and that I am meant to have my FAULTS, that is when I become beautiful.'
