Sylvester Stallone gets slapped with lawsuit as personal trainer alleges he 'stole his idea for NBC weight loss series'
Last week saw the season finale of Sylvester Stallone's new NBC training and weight loss series, Strong.
And on Friday TMZ reported that the 69-year-old star has been slapped with a lawsuit over the show, by trainer Robert Fletcher.
Fletcher alleges that Strong was inspired by an idea he had for a reality show - called America's Next Great Trainer - which he had shopped around Hollywood in 2014.

In hot water: Sylvester Stallone has been hit with a lawsuit regarding his new NBC training and weight loss series Strong, with Robert Fletcher alleging he stole the idea from a series he had called America's Next Great Trainer
Pretty 'similar': Fletcher is suing the Creed star, NBC, trainer Todd Durkin (from the series), and other Strong producers for upwards of $7 million based on the alleged similarities
The suit says that he sent pitch materials to Sylvester's publicist as well as agents at William Morris Endeavor - the company that represents the Rocky star.
Fletcher thinks it's no coincidence that two years later he began to hear about Strong, which is executive produced by Sylvester.
The series features male trainers - along with their partners, female trainees - competing in physical challenges, and Fletcher alleges that the concept is too similar to what he had been pitching.
Not a fan: Fletcher (pictured in 2015) alleges that Sylvester stole his idea for the reality competition series, as he had shopped his show around Hollywood in 2014, even sending it to the Rocky star's rep
On a mission: The series features male trainers - along with their partners, female trainees - competing in physical challenges, and Fletcher alleges that the concept is too similar to what he had been pitching
Fletcher also noted another questionable coincidence, the fact that trainer Todd Durkin had been attached to his series, before going radio silent in 2015. He then appeared on NBC series Strong.
The personal trainer is suing the Creed star, NBC, Todd, and other Strong producers for upwards of $7 million.
Sylvester posted to social media often about the series, at one point gushing: 'Everybody wants to be strong, everybody can be STRONG! These people are just like you and become amazing just like you can, so go for it!'
Ready for round two? The series wrapped its first season on June 2, and it is not yet known if NBC will sign it for a second season
Meanwhile, the series wrapped its first run on June 2, with mother-of-four Jill May and her trainer Bennie Wylie (a former strength and conditioning coach for the Dallas Cowboys) taking home the win.
During her time on the series, Jill was able to lose 19 percent of her body fat while also gaining 24 pounds of muscle.
It is not yet known if NBC will pick up the show for a second season.
