Adam Levine shared his devastation at the 'senseless' death of Christina Grimmie after the 22-year-old was shot at her Florida concert on Friday night.
Hours before learning of the tragic news, the 37-year-old was spotted leaving dinner with his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo at Craig's in West Hollywood.
It looked to have been a cheerful evening for the pair, with the expectant Victoria's Secret Angel, 27, flashing a smile before hopping into Adam's car.

The Voice coach later shared an Instagram photo with Grimmie after it emerged that she had been shot.
'I'm sad, shocked and confused,' he wrote. 'We love you so much Grimmie. We are all praying hard that you can pull through this...this just isn't fair.'
Shortly afterwards, the 22-year-old's representative confirmed that she had died from her injuries.
Adam, who is expecting his first child, released a statement on The Voice contestant's tragic death the following morning.
'This just isn't fair': The Maroon 5 frontman had then shared this Instagram photo after hearing that Christina had been shot, and said he was 'praying hard' that she would pull through
Gone too soon: The 22-year-old died from her injuries after being shot in the head by a gunman at her Florida concert. She is pictured here in March
'Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie's tragic death,' he said. 'Our hearts go out to her family. Christina was a natural, a gifted talent that comes along so rarely. She was taken from us too soon.'
Adam added: 'This is yet another senseless act of extreme violence. I am left stunned and confused how these things can conceivably continue to happen in our world.'
The Maroon 5 frontman's fellow coaches joined him in sharing their grief at the devastating news.
Blake Shelton tweeted: 'I'm stunned and disgusted and heartbroken that we lost that sweet little girl... Keeping @TheRealGrimmie family in my heart and mind.'

And Christina Aguilera wrote: 'So sad passing of @TheRealGrimmie. Beautiful member of #TheVoice family & true #Fighter. My heart goes out to her family, friends & fans. xo'
Carson Daly, who hosts the show, called into The Today Show on Saturday and said that he and the rest of the team are 'all still in shock'.
He went on: 'We’re all saddened by the news of Christina, who was just an incredible talent, and incredible person.
'People say the phrase a lot, "so-and-so was a nice person." Christina really was, she was special. She would walk in a room and have an infectious laugh. She was determined; she was confident. But she was so incredibly sweet.'
Off we go: It looked to have been a cheerful evening for the couple, and the Victoria's Secret Angel flashed a smile before getting into Adam's car
Carson added: 'You would never forget meeting her. I’m shocked she didn’t actually win season six. Her star was shining so bright, which certainly makes this tragedy that much harder this morning.'
Police believe that Christina's death was a targeted attack, but the killer did not know her.
The star's brother Mark tackled the 27-year-old gunman after he shot Christina in the head, preventing him from injuring anyone else. The gunman then shot himself dead.
