She may not be Queen of Denmark just yet, but Crown Princess Mary showed us how she is Queen of the red carpet on Sunday evening.

The awards were in honour of Denmark's growing entertainment industry, and they see actors, dancers, singers, directors, playwrights and stage designers recognised for their work.

Guest of honour: On Sunday evening, Princess Mary attended the Reumert Awards 2016, which were presented in the Opera House in Copenhagen in honour of Denmark's entertainment industry
Opting for a demure-cut, embellished dress, drop earrings by Dulong Fine Jewelery and gold Manolo Blahnik stilettos, the Tasmanian-born princess showed that camouflage isn't the only tricky trend she can pull off with aplomb.
For the final touches to her look, Princess Mary opted to curl her hair in a bouncy style that was a departure from her usual polished soft waves.
However, she still finished off the outfit with her trademark understated make-up.
Best dressed: For the occasion, the Australian-born princess opted for a demure-cut, yellow, embellished dress, drop earrings by Dulong Fine Jewelery [sic] and gold Manolo Blahnik stilettos
The result was a chic, but not too overdone look that showcased the 44-year-old's natural beauty.
As the last guest to take her seat at the esteemed awards night, Princess Mary enjoyed an evening honouring and celebrating some of Denmark's most talented artists.
She has attended the Reumert Awards previously, however this year was slightly different, as the Princess came without her husband, Prince Frederik.
Red carpet wonder: While Princess Mary usually attends this awards ceremony with Prince Frederik, this time she attended alone, and stopped to pose on the red carpet where she looked like a natural
During the awards ceremony, which was presented by actor, Rasmus Btoft, Danish comedian Nikolaj Stokholm and actress Bodil Jørgensen, the Crown Princess witnessed the presentation of 22 statuettes.
She later strode and posed for photos on the red carpet, where she looked totally at home.
From yellow to tight curls, and even embellishment on the bodice, it seems there is nothing Princess Mary cannot wear.
