It looks as if Sofia Richie has been digging around in her father Lionel's closet.

On Monday the 17-year-old was wearing the type of Western-cut denim jacket that was popular in the 1980s. And because it was oversized, it could easily have belonged to her Stuck On You singer dad.

On Monday last week, Sofia proved she's her father Lionel's sweetie as she shared a snap of her and the Hello singer hugging.

'Look who I found in the city,' the teenager wrote alongside the image. 

Sofia is Lionel's youngest child.

He is also father to Nicole, who is 34, is his eldest, and married to Joel Madden.

The singer and his first ex-wife, Brenda Harvey, adopted Nicole when she was a child. He and second ex-wife Diane Alexander are parents to Sofia and her older brother, Miles Brockman Richie, 21.

While Nicole Richie has managed to make a name for herself in the fashion world with her boho fashion line, House of Harlow 1960, looks like it’s now the turn of her little sister, Sofia, to become a top fashion designer.

Sofia recently confessed her fashion aspirations. 'I feel like the bulk of the work I want to do will be very much behind the scenes, but at the end of the day I want to showcase my work and be the face of it, and own it in a public space, even if a lot of the hardest work goes unseen,' she shared.

The stunning blonde added: 'I’m sure I’ll eventually work on something cool with another designer, rather than for another designer, but I’m honestly just really keen to work doing my own thing.'
