Roger Waters has found love after splitting from his fourth wife Laurie Durning in September of last year.

The Pink Floyd founder is dating Rula Jebreal, a Palestinian journalist and author who he has known for five years.

Waters, 72, first met Jebreal through his wife Durning, who was friends with Jebreal's now estranged husband Arthur Altschul Jr.

Jebreal, 43, and Altschul separated when he learned that she was having an affair with Water.

'Arthur and Laurie are longtime friends, and they introduced Rula and Roger a few years ago,' a source told Page Six.

'Rula had asked to meet Roger because he’s a vocal activist for Palestine. The two former couples have had dinner together many times. They were all friends.'

The source went on to say: 'But after Roger split with his wife, he began an affair with Rula. Arthur found out, and their marriage ended.'

They added that the entire situation is 'very weird' for their former spouses.

Jebreal and Altschul said in a mutual statement: 'We’ve been separated for several months and we are working on our divorce amicably behind closed doors.'

Altschul is the son of banking mogul Arthur Altschul and the brother of broadcast journalist Serena Altschul, who got her start on MTV News and now reports for CBS Sunday Morning.

He is also the step-brother of Southern Charm star Whitney Sudler-Smith, whose mother Patricia was his father's fourth wife.

Jebreal is the author of three books including Miral, which was made into a film by her boyfriend Julian Schnabel, who she dated for four years from 2007 to 2011.

The film, which was released in 2010, stars Freida Pinto, Vanessa Redgrave and Wilem Dafoe.

Waters performs as a solo act these days and in 2010 began The Wall Live tour, during which he played the entirety of the iconic Pink Floyd album of the same name.

Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, he toured while performing the entirety of The Dark Side of the Moon.

He is worth an estimated $245million according to Forbes.

Waters was previously married to Judy Trim, Lady Carolyne Christie and Priscilla Phillips.

His divorce to Durning, 52, was finalized in December, with the filmmaker getting a multi-million dollar settlement and a two-bedroom, 1,515-square-foot property in Soho worth more than $1.5million.

The pair married in 2012 after 10 years together.
