Wiped from the history books? Sam Frost and Blake Garvey NOT featured in montage of former Bachelor couples in promo for Richie Strahan's upcoming series

It was the unhappy ending The Bachelor producers would rather forget.

And it seems Network Ten is trying to erase Blake Garvey and Sam Frost's ill-fated 2014 engagement from the show's history.

In the promo for The Bachelor season four, Blake and Sam's proposal in South Africa is notably absent from a montage of previous winners.

On Thursday, Ten released a first-look trailer of the upcoming series, starring Richie Strahan.

The 90-second clip features a round-up of the final couples from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette - with one obvious exception.

Season two pair Blake and Sam are NOT included, possibly due to the controversy surrounding their break-up.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Network Ten for comment.
