She's an inspiration in the modeling world, and on Thursday, Christy Turlington stepped out for a stroll in New York City to spread more of her shine.

The 47-year-old looked fabulous in an off-white, laced babydoll top, light denim jeans ripped at the knees and rolled up to her ankles, and stylish black sneakers.

The supermodel had a dazzling smile that lit up her make-up free face.

The ageless beauty accessorized appropriately carrying her go-to camel-colored purse in one hand while her bright orange iPhone was in the other.

She decorated her neck with a simple gold pendant, wore a ring on her right hand, and donned a pair of dark brown sunglasses.

The supermodel, whose beautiful brunette locks were tied away from her face in a low ponytail, was spotted walking and talking with a friend.

When Turlington is not strutting on the streets with her beauty, she cares for her 12-year-old daughter Grace and 10-year-old son Finn whom she raises with her husband and actor Ed Burns.

The founder of Every Mother Counts was also the latest inspiration for Kendall Jenner's chopped locks.

The 20-year-old took to Snapchat last week to share her latest bob cut that hit her shoulders. While speculation arose that it was a prank, the reality star admitted another supermodel's hair prompted the chop.

'Honestly, I've been wanting to change my hair for a while now!' she wrote in a post featured on her subscription-only app and website. 'Christy Turlington's bob was a total inspiration for me, even though mine's a little longer.'

On her site, Kendall shared a picture of Christy sporting her '90s lob on the runway to show her fans the look she was going for.

She leaves an impact with fashion, but the renowned supermodel has also influenced mothers from all around the country, serving as a maternal health advocate.

Her experience also led her to pursue a master's degree in public health from Columbia University in 2008. She worked on her first documentary, No Woman, No Cry, which portrayed the difficulties pregnant women face in poor and rural countries.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported her organization has created awareness through film screenings, marathons, and product partnerships.

As of May of this year, the nonprofit Every Mother Counts has raised more than $13 million for its worldwide grantees and education programs.
