Claire Danes brought her smile to a special Hollywood gala celebrating women in film on Wednesday night in Beverly Hills.

The actress, 37, wore a sleeveless black and silver patterned knee-length dress for the star-studded event.

She left her shoulder-length blonde hair loose and brightened her look with a splash of cerise lip color.

The Homeland star added a pair of black pointed toe pumps and accessorized with statement earrings.

She flew to the West Coast after attending Sunday's Tony Awards in New York with her dashing British actor husband Hugh Dancy.

The Women In Film’s Crystal + Lucy Awards, handed out each year, honor those who have helped to expand the role of women within the entertainment industry.

Joining Danes at the event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was Cate Blanchett.

The Australian Oscar winner wore an interesting outfit comprising of a black blouse and black pencil skirt with a fussy frill at the waist and a zig-zag white ruffle down the front.

The 47-year-old added a matching jacket that she wore draped over her shoulders and a pair of black heels.

Taraji P. Henson was one of those to receive an award during the gala evening.

The actress was slated to be honored with the Lucy Award for Excellence in Television for her role as matriarch Cookie Lyon in Fox's Empire. 

It's just the latest in a string of accolades for the 45-year-old Washington, D.C. native who wrapped her self in a shiny black off-the-shoulder frock for her big night.
