Lana Del Rey rocks laid back chic in powder blue jumper and jeans as she treats herself to day of pampering at the hair salon

She's preparing to perform in a number of festivals around the world.

So it's no surprise that Lana Del Rey wanted to look her best for fans, as she enjoyed a trip to the hair salon on Thursday.

The 30-year-old perfectly mastered off-duty chic as she stepped out in a powder blue ribbed jumper that channelled a summery feel with short sleeves.

Maintaining her casual look, the singer rounded off her outfit with a pair of form fitting indigo jeans that cut off just above her ankle.

And she couldn't resist adding a touch of her trademark vintage style to her ensemble with a pair of pretty plimsolls that came complete with lace-up detailing.

Lana was reportedly in the Hollywood salon for four hours but nevertheless came out with the same hairstyle.

The West Coast singer styled her auburn locks into a low ponytail that was loosely tied at the nape of her elegantly long neck.

However, she softened her look by leaving out a few carefully curled tresses to frame her heart shaped face.

Keeping her accessories minimal, Lana shunned all jewellery apart from two simple bangles that she wore on either wrist and toted a simple brown shoulder bag.

And although she chose to cover her face behind a pair of oversized round shades, the singer appeared to go makeup free for the outing, as she sported a dewing complexion and just a slick of nude lipstick.

The New York native has not only been busy promoting her latest LP Honeymoon but she's recently been unveiled as one of the headliners for this summer's Osheaga Music Festival in Canada.

She will also be performing her new singles at California's Outside Lands and Ireland's Electric Picnic.

Speaking of her upcoming summer on Instagram, Lana wrote: 'Ladies and gentlemen, I'm coming to some of the most beautiful places in the world this summer for festivals.

'Absolutely can't wait to see everyone on our way through Switzerland, Greece, Ireland and many more stops until we eventually play back home in August in California.'

She added: 'Um Come To California Be A Freak Like Me Too,' she wrote of the U.S. event which takes place the weekend of August 5.
