Investing Show: How to avoid problem shares... so you can pick the winners
If you want to pick good shares, then you need to start off by spending plenty of time working out which ones to avoid.
In an investing world where contrarian is a term that often gets applies too easily, Jeremy Lang, of Ardevora, has long been renowned for genuinely taking a different approach - and delivering market-beating returns
He joins us in the studio for the latest in the Investing Show series and reveals why he focusses on dodging losers before he tries to find winners, doesn't meet company bosses and how he plans for bad news to last longer than expected.
The manager of the Ardevora UK Income, UK Equity and Global Equity funds, also explains why he thinks expensive businesses like Facebook and Amazon that make rivals feel uncomfortable can still be worth buying.
Also, on this fortnight's show, Simon Lambert, of This is Money, Richard Hunter, of Hargreaves Lansdown and Nick Batsford, of TipTV, discuss the prospects for a Santa rally, how markets fared in 2015 and reveal the best-performing investment trusts of the year.
