'We're getting there': Vicki Gunvalson tells Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she's on the road to love with new beau

Vicki Gunvalson after just two months of dating said she's already on the road to love with her new boyfriend Steve Lodge.

The 54-year-old reality star during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Monday became all gooey when discussing her new man.

'He's older and he's actually running for city council in November, so I hope everyone votes for him' said The Real Housewives Of Orange County star.

Show host Andy Cohen grilled her about Lodge, a retired cop who is running for office in Anaheim.

Gunvalson said he had not watched the RHOC show at all before they met.

When asked if she was in love with Steve yet she said: 'We're getting there…I'm very cautious, I'm very slow, there's no need to rush anything'.

'I've been alone and single, I've been dating a lot of men, and it's been very intimate, I mean, not intimate, but we go on dates,' she said, claiming to prefer her love tank 'full, all the time'.

'I prefer to be in a monogamous relationship, I don't like this dating business,' she explained.

Cohen asked if Lodge knows about the dark history of Vicki's ex boyfriend Brooks Ayers - who admitting forging medical records to prove he has cancer .

'Yes I told him everything,' she said.

Gunvalson's daughter Briana also 'loves' Lodge after she publicly stated her dislike for Ayers.

When asked about her ex, Gunvalson became testy.

'I really don't want to talk about Brooks' anymore,' she said, noting that she had 'blocked and unblocked' his number a couple of times.

After watching footage of her RHOC cast mates, who want an apology from her, she scoffed.

'How did everybody make it about them? It affected me,' she moaned.

The insurance firm boss stood by her claim that she was not complicit in the cancer scam.

'He wasn't telling me anything,' she protested.

'If you're in love with someone and they tell you something aren't you going to believe them?' she asked moodily.

A sneak peak of next week's RHOC revealed the women discussing their tattered relationships with the show veteran.

'These girls are tough,' she sighed wearily.

Gunvalson appeared on the show with Saturday Night Live star Bobby Moynihan, 39.

The comic discussed how he was once rehearsing a sketch with Donald Trump, who reportedly lied about making a hand gesture to cue the cameras.

'He did not do it at all…but he was like ''I did it, I totally did it'',' laughed Moynihan.

'Amazing, this could be our future president,' sighed Cohen.

When a viewer poll revealed that most people had 'not forgiven' Vicki for the Brooks' fiasco she was defiant.

'They don't know the true story, they don't know everything,' she said.
