Minka, who rose to fame as cheerleader Lyla Garrity in Friday Night Lights, recently reunited with a few of her former castmates at the Spartan Race in Chicago.

Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen), Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor) and Taylor Kitsh (Tim Riggins) were among those who attended.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Minka revealed the likelihood of the popular show returning to television, denying that it would ever happen.

'I think some things are better left [with people] wanting more,' she said.

Minka has other hobbies on her mind today. In addition to acting, the stunner is an avid cook.

According to Women's Wear Daily, The Path actress spent half a year as a student at a California culinary school last year.

'I grew up on junk food. That’s why learning about food and where it comes from and how it’s grown and sustainably farmed is important to me,' revealed the star, who counts roast chicken and vegetables one of her go-to meals.

Although she has found a keen interest in food, the actress has no plans to start a blog or become a restaurateur.
