'If I wasn't married and you were straight we would be in love,' laughed Mel B, 41, who is wed to film producer Stephen Belafonte, also 41.

'You showed all those people who bullied you,' Heidi Klum told Brian, who was persecuted at school for being overweight and gay.

Another strong performance came from Californian teenager Sofie Dossi – whose dad makes the props for her contortion act.

'No way!' screamed Heidi as Sofie hit the bullseye on a target, after pulling the crossbow with her feet.

'Are you boneless?' marveled Howie, as the 14-year-old sailed on to the next round.

He sang Ladies Man, an ironic ditty he'd written himself.

'I've never had a girlfriend,' he admitted, while advising in his lyrics 'don't go to prom with your mom'.
