That's what you call body art! Amazing UV pictures painted onto naked women celebrate the female form using images of sunsets, tropical oceans and mountains lit by moonlight
John Poppleton, from California, creates mindblowing works of art painted directly onto human skin using fluorescent shades. His project, called Under Black Light, consists of 'bodyscapes' of spectacular natural phenomena such as African sunsets, tropical oceans during rainstorm, and mountain ranges under moonlight. In more otherworldly, eerie designs the artist depicts cosmic scenes of stars, galaxies and shimmering auroras. ...read

Artist, 24, creates stunning sculptures using beaches as her blank canvas just one month after picking up a rake for first time
Chloe Dickey drew a huge floral design on a Port Macquarie beach on Saturday in under two hours. The 24-year-old from Lake Cathie, NSW, works in the wet sand at low tide meaning her drawings don't stick around for long when the waves roll in.
Feline arty! Artist loves her pet cat so much she's added it to works by Botticelli, Dali and even the Mona Lisa

The Getaway (Warner Bros.)
With new producer Danger Mouse adding a concise, poppy edge to their surging funk-rock, the Chili Peppers sound refreshed. Dispensing with the surf, disco and jazz influences that underpinned 2011¿s patchy I¿m With You, The Getaway is lifted by tuneful hooks and superb ensemble playing, with Flea¿s virtuoso bass illuminating Dark Necessities and Chad Smith¿s rumbling drums prominent on We Turn Red.

Strange Little Birds (Stun Volume)
An unlikely combination of Edinburgh vocalist Shirley Manson and three good old boys from Wisconsin, Garbage strike a deliciously dark tone on this sixth album. With churning guitars to the fore, Shirley hints at serious heartbreak on Empty, while If I Lost You finds her fearing the worst ¿ `I see you talking to other girls, and I feel insecure¿. Despite the gloom, this is a comeback crafted with power and intelligence.
★★★
Soulsville (East West)
Displaying real poise and polish, British soul girl Beverley Knight returns to the American city that inspired her role in the West End show Memphis The Musical. Albums of southern R&B; covers are not uncommon ¿ Paul Young released one last month ¿ but Knight¿s supple phrasing means she doesn¿t push her natural voice too hard. She excels on duets with Jamie Cullum and original soul man Sam Moore.
★★★★
Wrong Crowd (Columbia)
An appearance on a John Lewis Christmas advert did nothing for Tom Odell¿s credibility, but the piano-pounding Chichester singer-songwriter bounces back on this second album. Broader and more dramatic than his 2013 debut, Wrong Crowd suffers a little from hackneyed lyrics, but its stripped-down approach is suited to Odell¿s sensitive delivery, with Silhouette mixing Hollywood strings with a slick, Coldplay-like chorus.
★★★
50 (BMG)
Once the tea-boy in producer Pete Waterman¿s hit factory, Rick Astley hit pop pay-dirt with 1987¿s Never Gonna Give You Up, but this is his first album in 11 years. Now a deeper-voiced, more mature showman, Astley penned and played everything on 50 (his current age). Safe, Gary Barlow-like pop tunes dominate, though there¿s a welcome surprise in This OId House¿s jazzy piano and funky grooves.

Clean Your Clock (XL)
Motörhead frontman Lemmy once said that if his band became your neighbours, your lawn would die. Few green shoots would survive the snarling power of this cracking live album, recorded in Munich just a month before the singer's death in December. Despite failing health, Lemmy pulls no punches on a spirited Ace Of Spades and a brace of forceful blues numbers. Played hard and fast, it's a fitting epitaph.
