Kim Kardashian whipped up quite a feast on Sunday and enlisted some of her famous pals to get their stamp of approval.

Who better to test her home-cooked meal in honour of '#SoulFoodSundays' than pals Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who are known to have a passion for all things culinary.

Much to Kim's delight, Cravings cookbook author Chrissy raved over her cooking skills, even admitting that the reality star's recipe was better than her own.

It's approved: On Sunday, Kim Kardashian, 35, allowed pals Chrissy Teigen, 30, and John Legend, 37, to sample her home-cooked meal, in honour of '#SoulFoodSundays'

Chrissy, dressed in a pretty, earth-toned ensemble, sat across from husband John, with a plate of Kim's cooking placed in between them.

'Taste test,' said camerawoman Kim. who's voice is heard in the background.

'OK, that's amazing!' Chrissy exclaimed, as she sampled the first bite.

Her excitement immediately gained John's interest, and he begged to try it as well.

As he was eating his portion, Chrissy continued to praise Kim's cooking.

'That's actually better than mine!' noted the mother-of-one.

'When have you made sweet potatoes, baby?' asked John, as he went in for a bite.

Kim continued to film her pals as they sampled her food. The duo continued to comment on how 'good' it was.

As her pals chatted with each other over her yummy meal, the Keeping Up With Kardashian star expressed how important their stamp of approval was to her.

'I need your reaction as a verification to the world of people that think I don't know how to make soul food,' she said, happily.

'That's seriously really, really good,' admitted Chrissy, as she continued to chow down.

'See guys, I got the stamp of approval,' said Kim.

'It's very old school too. It's not like, there's no frills,' confirmed John.

'Ok guys, you heard it there. Soul food Sundays,' said Kim.

'This is really old school. It's like what you would have at church on Sunday,' John confirmed again.

'Yes!' whispered an excited Kim to her fans.

'I'm just joking, ya,' said Kim, who then explained to her followers the reason behind her daughter's question.

'I said guys that I wasn't gunna share my cornbread recipe with anyone and North and Ryan think I'm being mean,' she clarified.

As for dessert, the reality mom admitted that she makes it first before the actual meal, so that she 'doesn't have to worry about dessert at the end.'
