Ferrari youngster Stroll stays in Formula 3
3 November 2015 – Ferrari youngster Lance Stroll will remain with Prema Powerteam for a second crack at the European Formula 3 Championship in 2016.
Stroll made his debut in the series in 2015 and finished fifth in the championship, claiming his maiden victory during the final round of the season at Hockenheim.
"I'm certain that Prema will give me the equipment and support for me to launch an attack on the 2016 title, which is my goal for next season," he said.
"I joined Prema in my first season of car racing last year and they guided me to the Italian F4 title. This year they've done an awesome job for me in my maiden F3 season."
Canadian racer Stroll joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2010 and is one of four drivers on the scheme.
Raffaele Marciello and Antonio Fuoco compete in GP2 and GP3 respectively, while Guan Yu Zhou finished as runner-up in this year's Italian F4 Championship.
