Comedy queen Amy Schumer has sent fans into a tizzy with the announcement of her debut Australian stand-up tour.

The bawdy blonde is set to grace the land Down Under in December this year thanks to Live Nation, with shows announced in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

She will also perform in Auckland, New Zealand after wrapping up the tour's Australian leg.

It's great news for fans who missed out on securing a ticket to Amy's exclusive Melbourne show last year, which took place in conjunction with the launch of her film Trainwreck.

Known for her side-splitting commentary on sex and relationships, the award-winning performer has enjoyed a world of success after entering the comedy circuit in the early 2000s.

She has taken home five prestigious awards in 2016 alone, including two Critics' Choice Movie Awards for Trainwreck and a Writers Guild of America Award for her sketch show Inside Amy Schumer.

Amy celebrated a milestone achievement last month as she headlined her very first solo show at the iconic Madison Square Garden on June 23.

2016 is shaping up to be a year of firsts for Amy, who is also set to release her debut book The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo, a collection of chucklesome essays exploring Amy's past relationships.

The busy star has also been busy filming scenes for military drama Thank You For Your Service alongside Miles Teller, which is due for release later this year.

The Comedy Central star has previously dated comedian Anthony Jeselnik, and WWE star Dolph Ziggler.
