He's on the Gold Coast in Australia to film his latest Marvel superhero movie, Thor: Ragnarok.

So after touching down in the Queensland city Friday, it was no surprise to see Tom Hiddleston working up a sweat, to ensure he keeps fit for his movie role.

The 35-year-old actor was spotted showing off his muscly figure as he went for a jog in the Queensland city on Saturday, though his 26-year-old girlfriend Taylor Swift was nowhere to be seen.

He swapped his usual red carpet suit for a comfortable workout ensemble, consisting of a black Nike branded T-shirt and a pair of navy shorts.

His tight T-shirt revealed his defined biceps, and he completed his sporty look off with a few accessories.

Slipping his feet into a pair of black running shoes, Tom had a pair of headphones plugged in as he tried to focus on his workout.

However despite his attempt to keep a low profile with a pair of dark sunglasses and a navy blue cap, it wasn't long before fans and media spotted the A-lister.

Tom is on the Gold Coast to film his latest Marvel superhero movie, Thor: Ragnarok.

The film is slated for release in November 2017, and it is believed to draw some of its inspiration from the Planet Hulk comic book story line, where the infuriated green antihero takes over a planet after being beamed into space.

Heading the cast of the new film is Chris Hemsworth as Thor, while Mark Ruffalo will once again star as the Hulk.

Cate Blanchett will be playing a new villain Hela, Jeff Goldblum stars as Grandmaster while Tessa Thompson is to play Valkyrie.

Tom and Taylor were spotted touching down in Sydney on Friday morning, opting for casual ensembles for their long-haul flight from Los Angeles.

Not letting the cooler Sydney weather get the better of her, Taylor was seen wearing a mini checkered dress.

Finishing well above her knees, the frock showcased her trim pins, while her slender arms were also clearly on display for all to see.

She teamed the sleeveless number with a pair of cream coloured flat shoes, while a delicate chain necklace completed her accessories.

Taylor wore her golden locks sleek and straight, while her gorgeous facial features were highlighted with lashings of jet black mascara and a slick of pink lipstick.

Meanwhile, Tom also opted for a cool and casual outfit.

The English actor wore a white T-shirt, which revealed a hint of his chest hair, and layered the top with a navy jacket.

He also wore a pair of matching trousers, and it wasn't hard to miss the fact that the couple were very much colour coordinated for their overseas travels.

With a backpack slung over his right arm, Tom also had a pair of sunglasses tucked into his T-shirt.

Meanwhile the couple looked very much in love as they made their way through the terminal, arm-in-arm.

Taylor split from DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris, 32, five weeks ago after 15 months together.

Tom and Taylor met and shared a dance at the Met Costume Gala in New York City on May 1, with the smitten actor sending her flowers and wooing her after learning of her newly-single status.
