Well he is good with his shots! Watch Andy Murray celebrating like a champion with his wife Kim as they partied with drinks and sparklers until 3.30am

  • Andy Murray enjoyed Wimbledon victory with night out in London following straight sets win at Wimbledon
  • He and wife Kim were pictured leaving trendy venue Drama at around 3.30am this morning in a car
  • They were seen drinking shots with his entourage at around 1am as they joked and chanted 'Andy, Andy!'
  • Speculation is rife they took the trophy with them in a large green box which was being carried by a minder
  • Murray was back on television just hours later as he appeared at a press conference at Wimbledon at 10.30am

Andy Murray said he was going to enjoy his second Wimbledon victory more than his first - and from the looks of his night out it seems like he did.

After enjoying the Champions dinner at the Guildhall in London, the 29-year-old Scot and wife Kim made their way to trendy nightclub Drama in the capital - while his mother-in-law Leonore Sears was looking after their five-month-old daughter Sophia.

The couple were caught on camera enjoying what appeared to be shots as they laughed and danced with a group of friends.

And at around 3.30am the couple emerged looking slightly worse for wear after a night of celebrating the SW19 victory.

Murray certainly seemed to have a good night, posing for pictures with fans inside the nightclub with a broad smile across his face while his wife was seen getting into the spirit of the occasion, throwing her arms up high and dancing around.

In the footage Murray can be seen hugging and celebrating with a male friend while surrounded by an entourage, some of whom are holding large sparklers.

Loud dance music is playing in the background, making it almost impossible to hear what is being said, although the crowd appear to be chanting something.

A waiter later appears carrying a tray of orange drinks in shot glasses arranged around another sparkler, while the crowd can be heard chanting 'Andy, Andy, Andy' and 'A, A, A' as Murray, whose shirt is untucked, reaches for a glass.

Meanwhile Kim grabs two of the drinks and Heather Watson can be seen in the background reaching for another, before the two women toast each other.

A fellow reveller, who asked not to be named, said Murray arrived at the club at around 1am and seemed to have a 'great night'.

He said: 'Andy was very positive and very happy. He was with a group of five or six guys and everyone looked like they were having a good time.

'I didn't notice his wife much but it was very crowded and he had security around him. There were lots of people taking photos of him from far away, but there wasn't any trouble or anything. He was just having a nice time.

'I'm not sure how much he was drinking. The people around him seemed to be drinking a lot but I only saw him with some orange shots. It could have been orange juice but I suspect it was alcohol.'

Murray then graps his friend's hands and appears to be joking with him
He then proceeds to join in some chanting at the man

But by mid-morning Murray had little trouble maintaining his composure as he appeared at a post-Wimbledon press conference at 10.30am

The Scot then appeared on television at 6.30am giving an interview to the BBC, raising questions at how much sleep he'd been able to have, but it was actually a pre-recorded segment.

But he was back live and in person for a post-Wimbledon press conference at 10.30am where he maintained his composure to talk about his terrific achievement.

He admitted at the press conference he was feeling 'tired' after his celebrations and he was looking forward to a few days' rest.

Murray said: 'I had a rough night last night, good celebrations with the teams, it was good fun.'

He added the win felt 'a lot nicer' than his first Wimbledon victory because he was 'calmer and a lot happier'.

Then, appearing for an interview on Loose Women later, he admitted mother-in-law Leonore was at home with the baby while he and Kim partied away.

He said: ' I got a few hours [sleep] in before I came into Wimbledon this morning. I had a good night. The mother-in-law was babysitting.'

Murray added the crowd was a big factor in his win this year and was grateful for all the support he received.

He said: 'It helps, it makes a big difference, important moments I've played and when there’s atmosphere and the crowd is against you. It's easier to play when there's the support.

'I find it hard the night before the match and the morning and build up is bad but once I get on the court I'm much better. It’s because I've played tennis my whole life so I know how to do it

'I still get angry, but it's better than it was before. The nerves are hard to keep in check., You can't control them you can't just decide not to get nervous.

'The reason why I get nervous for Wimbledon is because it's the biggest tennis tournament in the world, it's what I train for the whole year. I find a way of dealing with them, nerves aren't a bad thing.'

Murray also revealed fatherhood has 'changed his attitude' to everything and that he found it difficult to be away from his pregnant wife during the Australian Open in January.

He said: 'It changes everything. It was hard over in Australia, it was bad timing on our part, we should have thought that through a little bit better but it worked out in the end, it's been an amazing few months. Hopefully it’ll continue on the court too. She's helped me in that respect for sure.

'I have always been very emotional, people don't always see it but if you ask my wife she will tell you I'm pretty emotional. Obviously having children changes your perspective on life. I feel like I'm appreciating things a bit more now.

'Tennis isn't the be all and end all which is a good thing. The first thing I think of when I get up in the morning isn’t tennis anymore and that's a good thing.'

Dazzle in sequins with Kim's Jenny Packham evening dress

Jenny Packham is definitely one of Kim Murray's favourite designers. Not only did she wear the label for her wedding day, but she's also wore two dresses from the brand to support her husband at the Wimbledon final today. But who can blame her - because Jenny Packham sure does make the most gorgeous dresses.

After stunning in a bright yellow midi dress from the brand earlier today for the tennis match, Kim changed into something more evening appropriate in time for the Champions ball tonight. Looking beautiful in a sequin embellished tulle maxi gown with wrap detail to the bust, chic embellished belt and thigh high split to the front, this is one of Kim's most daring looks yet and we love it on her! The great news is, that this Jenny Packham number is available to buy right now at The Outnet, so click right to make it yours.

There's no doubt that a glitzy sequin number makes a true statement in evening wear, and whether summer of winter, you really can't go wrong with something sparkly. To make like Kim, choose one of the sparkly maxi's below and prepare to dazzle at your next occasion.

He said: ' She's done Miami, Rome, she's definitely coming to New York so she's done all right so far.'

Murray beat Milos Raonic in straight sets to earn his third Gram Slam title overall.

Speculation is rife that he had the trophy with him on the night out, with a suited minder carrying a green box that is believed to have contained the golden prize.

He was suited and booted himself last night as the star was no doubt keen to let his hair down as he threw his arms around his beautiful wife who looked stunning in a golden sequin dress at the traditional dinner.

But by the time he left the nightclub the dinner jacket and bow tie were nowhere to be seen as Murray and his wife enjoyed partying into the night.

After winning at SW19 for the first time in 2013, Murray had to endure a three-year wait to add to his collection of major trophies, losing in three Grand Slam finals to arch-nemesis Novak Djokovic. Now that Murray has ended that barren run, he believes his peak period is still ahead of him.

Murray said: 'I still feel like my best tennis is ahead of me, that I have an opportunity to win more [Grand Slams]. Everyone's time comes at different stages. Some come in their early 20s, some mid 20s. Hopefully mine is still to come.

The champion looked tired mid-morning as he answered questions about his big win

Murray told the packed press conference at Wimbledon at 10.30am that he had 'good celebrations' with his team last night

'I obviously would have loved to have won more. The guys that I've been playing against have won lots. If I want to add to three slams, I'm going to have to find ways to win against them. It's very rare that you get through a slam without playing Novak, Roger [Federer] or Rafa [Nadal].'

Murray has endured repeated tough times in the past at Grand Slam events, losing a total of eight finals during his career, but believes yesterday's success is forged by what he has learnt from these defeats.

Murray said: 'I don't mind failing. Failing is OK, providing that you have given your best and put everything into it. Obviously a lot of questions would get asked of me after those losses, but failing is not terrible. [I have been] learning from all of my losses. That's what I've done throughout most of my career.

'I'm just really proud that I managed to do it again after a lot of tough losses in the latter stages of the slams over the last couple of years.

'I am also aware of how difficult these competitions are to win once. To do it twice here, an event where there is a lot of pressure on me to perform well, I am very proud with how I have handled that over the years.'
