'Quality time!' Ivanka Trump snaps a sweet photo with son Theo as the businesswoman candidly admits she struggles to always give her kids her undivided attention

  • The 34-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon to post a clip of her second child, who is wearing a monogrammed shirt, on the golf course
  • In the clip, Ivanka can be heard encouraging Joseph to take a swing before he happily hits the ball
  • Over the weekend, Ivanka also posted a picture of herself posed with her three-month-old son Theodore and her four-year-old daughter Arabella

Ivanka Trump couldn't help but snap a picture of herself spending some quality time with her three-month-old son Theodore just a few hours after she admitted that it is impossible to always give her children her undivided attention when she is home.

The 34-year-old mother-of-three took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share a sweet photo of herself holding baby Theo in her arms after returning from a day at the office.

'After-work snuggles are the best. #QualityTime,' she captioned the image, which sees her snapping a selfie in the mirror.

Ivanka, who has said that dresses are her go-to ensembles for work, is all smiles as she poses in a floral number from her eponymous collection.

And while Theodore is looking away from the camera, he still looks adorable in blue gingham romper that is worn over a white T-shirt.

Earlier in the day, Ivanka was busy filming clips for AskIT, a segment on her YouTube channel in which she answers her fans' pressing questions about business and life.

The businesswoman's team posted photos of her working on her latest project on Snapchat, and on Tuesday they also debuted a new series of YouTube videos in which she discusses balancing her burgeoning career and her life at home.

When answering a question about her failures as a mother, Ivanka admits that she thinks has done a lot of 'kind of bad things' as a mom but nothing 'massively bad'.

Being honest: In the latest clips from the AskIT series on her eponymous YouTube channel, Ivanka says she tries to be present when she is with her three kids, but it's not always easy to give her undivided attention

'I always feel the worst about myself when I realize 10 seconds too late that one of my children is like tugging on my dress and I am on my phone,' she says. 'So I think not responding to one of those cues is not great.

'I really try to make an effort to be present in what it is that I am doing because I am not home all the time — because I am working a large part of the day,' she adds.

'When I am home I try to be super engaged and give my kids my undivided attention, but as we all know, undivided attention is not something we can give all the time despite best efforts.'

In another clip, Ivanka speaks candidly about how marriage and motherhood has made her a better person, explaining that her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric often joke that she is a 'much nicer human being' thanks to her husband Jared, 35, and their children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.

And of course, plenty of Ivanka's fans want to know how she balances her career and her family.

'So the balance question comes up all the time, and all of us strive to figure out how to best balance our lives,' she says. 'But it is also a question I hate.'

Ivanka goes on to explain that she dislikes the word balance because it makes you think of a scale leaning to one side, which is 'setting ourselves up for failure'.

'Balance for me comes in the form of insuring that I am not planning a work dinner the night after I get back from business travel, like structural decisions I make to insure that I am with my family very consistently,' she says. 'If I have to be away, I make meaningful time to connect with them when I return.'

With her 70-year-old father Donald running for president, she has been busier than ever and there has been plenty of fodder about Ivanka's own success.

After taking himself out of the running for vice president with Donald, Senator Bob Corker stated that he thinks Ivanka would be the presumptive Republican nominee's 'best running mate'.

'I don't know that I've met a more composed, brilliant, beautiful-in-every-way person,' he told NBC, and Ivanka's brother Eric readily agreed, telling Fox & Friends last week that she got his vote.

And while its probably unlikely that Ivanka will end up running for vice president, plenty of people want to know what she is doing to raise successful children like herself.

'Ask me in 20 years when my children have been successful in life, hopefully,' she says with a laugh in one of her new YouTube clips.

Ivanka notes that looking back on how she was raised, she first and foremost wants to create a safe and loving environment for her children, but she also wants them to have a 'sense of perseverance and a sense of grit'.

She goes on to say that the most successive people she knows are solution-oriented and view challenges as opportunities, explaining that they don't let 'setbacks paralyze them and demoralize them'.

'I spend a lot of time talking to my kids about how Kushners love challenges and praising them for the effort they put into things as opposed to only the end result,' she says. 'So hopefully that encourages them to work through their problems.'

But when it comes to her family, she says her main goal is 'just happiness'.

'I want my kids to feel loved; I want to feel loved. I want us all to be happy, so that is my top priority,' she explains.

Ivanka's 984,000 Instagram followers can surely attest to the fact that the working mom makes a great effort to spend quality times with her kids, and over the weekend, she cheered on her two-year-old son Joseph as he practiced his golf swing.

The proud mom took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon to share an adorable video of Joseph proudly showing her how far he can hit a golf ball.

'Tee time!' Ivanka captioned the footage, which sees her eldest son hitting two golf balls in a row.

Earlier in the day, she posted a sweet snap of Arabella sleeping in bed, and the day before she shared a photo of herself with Theodore and Arabella, who is turning five this month.

However, the snapshot isn't as perfectly posed as she might have liked.

'I asked Arabella to smile, and this is what I get. She is such a goofball!' she captioned the photo, which sees her eldest child standing behind her and Theodore while making bunny ears with her fingers.
