Kate famously did her own makeup for the big day despite two billion eyes upon her as she walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey.

With Arabella's guidance she sported stronger eyeliner that usual with the sockets shaded with a grey taupe shadow.

The beauty expert set up Votary last year, after seeing the benefit of facial oils on her clients' skin, as well as her own skin.

'I had started using an oil to take my makeup off and an oil to moisturise and found that my skin had never been happier,' she told Yahoo.

'I was also using natural plant oils to prep my clients’ skin because I found that it gave the best base for makeup.

'Natural plant oils absorb directly into the skin, so I found that massaging that into the skin made an absolutely flawless base.'
