'I see your bulls***!' Jon Stewart triggers the censors as he launches furious attack on Fox News in second comeback appearance of the week 

Jon Stewart launched a furious attack on Fox News last night during a second comeback appearance on The Late Show.

The former Daily Show host, 53, joined Stephen Colbert in front of the cameras to savage Donald Trump and Fox News whose head Roger Ailes resigned just hours earlier after being accused of sexual harassment.

He slammed the way pundits have attacked Obama with criticisms that can equally apply to Trump and finished his tirade with a scathing rant telling them: 'You don't own this country. There is no real America.'

The show began with Colbert sarcastically lamenting Ailes's resignation. 'I just want to say that, although I spent well over a decade making fun of his network and him and the damage I think he did to the world, the news of this man losing his job gives me no pleasure,' Colbert said, before asking the camera to pan away so he could laugh in celebration.

He then said 'if only there was someone I could share this lack of pleasure with,' before Stewart appeared next to him wearing a T-shirt and a scruffy beard.

Stewart then asked Colbert if he could take over and The Late Show host gave way after handing him a jacket and clip-on tie.  

The comedian started his tirade by attacking the RNC. 'The Republicans appear to have a very clear plan for America,' he said. 

'One, jail your political opponent. Two, inject Rudy Giuliani with a speedball-and-Red Bull enema, and, three, spend the rest of the time scaring the holy bejesus out of everybody.' 

He then talked about the 'contortions many conservatives will have to do to embrace Donald J. Trump, a man who clearly embodies all the things that they have said for years that they have hated about Barack Obama'. 

He played clips of Fox News pundits attacking Obama to suggest that their criticisms of the President can equally be applied to Trump.

Stewart then asked Colbert if he could take over and the Late Show host gave way after handing him a jacket and clip-on tie

'A "thin-skinned narcissist" with "no government experience"? Yes, that sounds exactly like Barack Obama,' he said sarcastically. 

And Stewart gave special mention to presenter Sean Hannity, whom he dubbed 'Lumpy'.

In response to Hannity's claim that Obama was 'the most divisive president in American history,' Stewart said: 'I'm not an expert on racial unity, but I do believe that some of our more vaunted historical leaders in that area did retweet white supremacists less than Trump.' 

Hannity has also criticized Obama's rigid use of the teleprompter to make his speeches - he once said: 'President Obama can't read a sentence without a teleprompter, he sleeps with the darn thing.' 

So Stewart slammed Hannity for praising Trump's use of the teleprompter which he said was very good 'for someone who had never done it before.'

He also criticized pundits for attacking Obama's 'elitism' and the way he orders 'fancy burgers with Dijon mustard' by pointing out that Trump 'sits on a golden throne at the top of a golden tower with his name written in gold, eating pizza with a knife and fork'. 

The comedian started his tirade by attacking the RNC. 'The Republicans appear to have a very clear plan for America,' he said sarcastically as the crown went wild

He then slammed the description of Trump as a 'blue collar billionaire' by joking, 'it is true, Trump does seem like the kind of guy you'd like to sit down and own a fleet of airplanes with'.

In a scathing attack on the pundits he said: 'it's easy for people without ethics or principles to embrace someone who embodies everything they hate about the previous president.'

Obama has been attacked for not being Christian enough yet when the Pope questioned Trump's Christianity, Hannity was outraged. 'Yeah, who died and made that guy pope?' Stewart joked. 

He then finished his performance with a vicious rant that triggered the censors.  

'Here's where we are,' Stewart began. 'Either Lumpy and friends are lying about being bothered by thin-skinned, authoritarian, less-than-Christian readers-of-prompter being president, or they don't care, as long as it's their thin-skinned prompter authoritarian tyrant narcissist. 

'You just want that person to give you your country back, because you feel that you are this country's rightful owner. The only problem with that: this country isn't yours. You don't own it. It never was. There is no "real" America. You don't own it. You don't own patriotism. You don't own Christianity. You sure as hell don't own respect for the bravery and sacrifice for military, police, and firefighters. Trust me!

He then finished his performance with a vicious rant that triggered the censors. 'There is no 'real' America. You don't own it,' he said

'I saw a lot of people on the convention floor with their "Blue Lives Matter" rhetoric who either remained silent or actively fought against the 9/11 first responders' bill reauthorization,' he continued. 'So I see you, and I see your bulls***,' he added, triggering CBS's censors.

The line was a callback to the impassioned message Stewart delivered on the day he left The Daily Show last August, warning his audience: 'Beware the bull****.'

After being told he had one minute left by Colbert, who popped up from under the desk, Stewart concluded: 'Those fighting to be included in the ideal of equality are not being divisive. Those fighting to keep those people out are. So, Lumpy, you and your friends have embraced Donald Trump. Clearly the C next to your names don't stand for "constitutional" or "conservative," but "cravenly convenient—"'

His final word was interrupted by Colbert with an air horn. Stewart dropped his tie on the desk and danced out of the room.

Stewart last appeared on The Late Show only Tuesday when Colbert, in a sketch, told him the news that Trump was the front runner. 

On learning the news, Stewart spit his tea into Colbert's face and asked: 'The guy from The Apprentice? The guy who did a McDonald's commercial with the Grimace?...

'The guy whose eyes look like tiny versions of his mouth? A guy who looks like he's actually wearing a Donald Trump costume?

Mr Ailes, 76, yesterday said he was stepping down as head of Fox News because he did not want his 'presence to become a distraction'. 

His position had effectively become untenable after former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him earlier this month. 

Rupert Murdoch, 85, has personally stepped into the breach and taken over as Chairman and Acting CEO.
