Their divorce was finalized just a week ago but Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin had no qualms about temporarily 're-coupling' for a family vacation in The Hamptons.

The exes have worked to maintain an amicable relationship for the sake of their children and they've clearly succeeded.

Martin broke off from his Coldplay tour to fly to the East Coast resort to spend time with the actress and their son Moses, 10, and daughter Apple, 12.

The British rocker, 39, looked happy as Larry as she played on the sand with Moses in a pair of black board shorts and a light blue baseball cap.

He and his son, wearing a pair of green shorts, enjoyed some paddle tennis.

Paltrow, meanwhile, kept an eye on proceedings making sure her youngest remained hydrated by drinking bottled water.

Still friends: The actress, 43, and the musician, 39, who were married for just over a decade, finalized their divorce on July 15 after 'consciously uncoupling' in March 2014

Co-parenting: Paltrow and Martin have worked hard at keeping their relationship amicable for the sake of their two children

They might have 'consciously uncoupled' and now finally divorced, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have always put their differences behind them and spent family time together with their kids.

As the pair hit the beach in The Hamptons this weekend they looked relaxed around each other, enjoying the sunshine in each others' company.

Gwyneth had kept things casual for the occasion, there was certainly no dressing to impress the ex in this instance. But her cool daytime look impressed us at least with its relaxed beach vibe. The Shakespeare In Love Oscar winner announced in March 2014 that she and her husband of a little more than ten years were 'consciously uncoupling.'

A year later she filed for divorce and on July 15 it was finalized after she agreed that neither party needed to pay spousal maintenance.

Martin is currently dating British actress Annabelle Wallis, 31, while Paltrow has been dating American Horror Story producer Brad Falchuk, 45, for more than a year.

The actress recently said she's 'proud' of her friendship with the musician, and that the pair stay close for the sake of their children.
