The other is a sci-fi screen goddess - so who knew that Sharon Stone, 58, and Zoe Saldana, 38, would step out together for some retail therapy on Monday.

The pair looked to be good pals as they went shopping for rugs, with Sharon appearing to advise the Avatar actress.

Meanwhile Golden Globe nominee Stone recently worked on James Franco's upcoming comedy going behind the scenes of Tommy Wiseau's strange cult classic The Room.

The film, which features a star-studded cast including Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, and Dave Franco, is currently in post-production.

She is also set to appear in dramas What About Love, Running Wild, and TV movie Mosaic.
