Mommy's little helper! Chelsea Clinton heads off to the DNC with toddler Charlotte while dressed-down husband Marc loads the car - but there is no sign of baby Aidan

  • Chelsea Clinton and her daughter Charlotte were seen heading into a car outside their New York City apartment on Tuesday
  • It is the first time Chelsea has been seen in public since giving birth to her son Aidan last month
  • Chelsea is heading down to Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention where she will introduce her mother Hillary on Thursday
  • Her husband Marc Mezvinsky was seen loading up the car in a t-shirt and pair of windpants

Chelsea Clinton was spotted for the first time since giving birth last month to son Aidan as she and her toddler daughter Charlotte prepared to head down to Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention.

The pair were also joined by a dressed-down Marc Mezvinsky, who was seen loading the family car just two days before Chelsea is set to introduce her mother Hillary right before the she delivers the final speech of the week.

Chelsea will make that speech one week after her friend and fellow mom Ivanka Trump did the same for her father Donald at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

Not seen on Tuesday however was newborn baby Aidan, though he will no doubt nein the audience at the convention  on Thursday.

Chelsea and her family could also be in the audience tonight at the convention as well for her father Bill's headlining speech, which Hillary will be watching from their home in Chappaqua.

Chelsea and Aidan have been laying low since his birth last month, though the mom-of-two did post a few photos of her boy shortly after he was born.

Hillary also posted a photo of her with the baby, writing on Instagram: 'What a joy being with our new grandson, Aidan. So grateful.'

The former president was perhaps the most excited though about  the birth of his first grandson, which occurred one day before Father's Day, posting a photo with the boy and Mezvinsky from the hospital and writing: 'Aidan has made two dads very happy this Father's Day. Hillary and I are thrilled for Marc and Chelsea!'

It had been a rough month prior to the birth of Aidan for Mezvinsky, who was forced to shutter his hedge fund.

Mezvinsky, 38, and his partners, former Goldman Sachs colleagues Bennett Grau and Mark Mallon, raised $25million from investors to buy up bank stocks and debt from Greece, but lost big after betting on the revival of the struggling nation's economy.

Eaglevale Partners was started in 2011 by Mezvinsky and his partners, with their former boss, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd C. Blankfein, one of the first investors.

The flagship fund currently manages $330 million and is down 1 percent this year.

Mezvinsky was long gone from his job at Goldman in October 2013 when his mother-in-law Hillary was paid to give a speech to executives at the company during a technology conference in Arizona.

She was reportedly paid $225,000 for that appearance.

Shortly after starting Eagleville, Mezvinsky and Chelsea moved into a $10million New York City apartment opposite Madison Square Park.

The four-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot apartment is one of only four residences in the building, which despite the low occupancy rate still has a full-time doorman.

The apartment, whose hallways stretch a full city block, also has two dishwashers, two washer and dryers, dressing rooms with double-sided vanity mirrors, and two massive walk-in closets.

The bedrooms meanwhile face right into Vera Wang's bridal design studio, who designed Cheslea's dress for her wedding day.

Chelsea, 36, has stayed busy this past year campaigning for her mother while also working for the Clinton Foundation.
