Apprentice star Omarosa gets engaged to Florida pastor four years after death of previous fiance Michael Clarke Duncan 

She was left devastated after the death of her beloved fiance Michael Clarke Duncan.

But it seems Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault is finally ready to move on after it emerged she is now engaged to a Florida preacher.

The 42-year-old reality television villain, who is now working for Donald Trump's presidential campaign, grinned with glee as she showed off her massive sparkler.

According to TMZ, holy man Dr John Allen Newman got down on bended knee in front of his congregation at The Sanctuary at Calvary Church in Jacksonville.

The couple met less than a year ago, while Omarosa, who is herself an assistant pastor at Weller Street Baptist Church in Los Angeles, was teaching at Howard University business school.

It will not be the first time the self-styled executive will have travelled down the aisle however, as she was married to Aaron Stallworth from 2000 until 2005.

It is more good news for the Beverly Hills-based television personality, who has seen her profile soar recently after she was named director of African-American outreach for Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

The role has seen her appear on news networks to speak in support of the controversial businessman.

The colourful TV personality has been involved with a presidential candidate before however, for she worked in the office of then-Vice President Al Gore as a scheduling correspondent.

Omarosa was left devastated in 2012 after her then fiance Michael Clarke Duncan died after suffering a heart attack in July 2012.

She tried to save the Green Mile actor's life by performing CPR, but he died due to complications from the attack two months late.

They started dating after meeting in the unlikely location of the produce section of a Whole Foods supermarket
