She vowed to get motivated and shed the pounds earlier this year after realising she'd shot from a size six to a size 16.

And Gogglebox favourite Scarlett Moffatt has certainly been working hard, showing off the results of her fitness and diet plan as she headed out in London on Tuesday.

The outspoken Geordie looked slimmer than ever in a chic blue dress, beaming as she strolled around King's Cross.

The 24-year-old looked gorgeous in her fitted frock in an electric blue hue.

The knee length number skimmed her curves, highlighting her noticeably slimmer frame and toned legs.

Scarlett added to the dressy vibe with a pair of glam ankle strap nude heels and slung a blue bag over her arm to complete the ensemble.

Meanwhile her long locks were left loose to show off her silver grey highlights.

Scarlett has been working hard on her health since the Spring, and the weight loss isn't hard to see.

Back in May the Gogglebox star, who appears on the Channel 4 show with her parents and little sister, revealed her horror at learning she was clinically obese and risking developing diabetes.

She vowed to stop eating 'the wrong things' such as cocktails, cake and chips.

Scarlett has been determined to lose weight after she was left mortified during a routine trip to the doctors in which she discovered her Body Mass Index.

After growing up in constant training as a semi-professional ballroom dancer, upon leaving to go to university in York she soon fell off her exercise regime.

The beauty, who ballooned from a size six to a 16, revealed: 'I knew I was overweight but when I went to the doctor for a check up, she said: "You're not overweight, you're obese".

Upon discovering she was at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, Scarlett was adamant the practitioner's words were a 'rocket up her bum'.

Of her former interest in dance, she said: 'It was really intense training but when I stopped when I was a student and discovered alcohol and kebabs and I've never found any exercise to replace it.'

Scarlett has suffered a tough time of late, as she revealed online trolls have made her feel low atop her weight issuses.

She told Belfast Telegraph: 'There are odd ones, mostly men, who criticise me about my weight and my size and say I'm ugly. I'd be lying if I said that it doesn't hurt sometimes.'

Cruel bodyshamers littered her recent Instagram picture with negative comments on her appearance, though she was quick to remind them that there were more important things to discuss.

Posting and then deleting a response a week ago, Scarlett allegedly wrote: 'When you have size G cup boobs and everyone's slagging your boobs off!!

'I have a bra on here and sorry that I haven't had f*kin surgery, I try and be a good influence to others to be comfortable in your own skin.'

According to Now, she then added: 'There's enough sh*t going on in the world, let's build each other up instead of being negative!! [sic]'
