He has three children of his own - Mason, six, Penelope, four, and Reign, 19 months - with Kourtney Kardashian.

So it's no surprise that Scott Disick is stepping up to give Kourtney's brother Rob Kardashian some helpful advice on how to be a father, according toE! News.

Rob, 29, is expecting his first child with 28-year-old model and stylist Blac Chyna.

Sharing his wisdom: Scott Disick, seen with Rob Kardashian in 2013, says he's been telling the father-to-be to stay positive and take it one day at a time when it comes to being a dad

'I just told him not to get ahead of himself,' Scott said.

'Take every day like it's a new day, start fresh, be present, be happy, and you know, have a positive energy and a positive vibe so your child comes into the world with a positive energy.

When asked how he thinks Rob will cope with all the new responsibility, Scott was very encouraging.

'I think he's going to be unbelievable. He's got one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. He's just an amazing guy and I'm so happy for him,' the 33-year-old said.

Expecting: Rob's fiance Blac Chyna showed off her growing baby bump in a pink velvet dress while out in Los Angeles on Saturday

'Rob is like my brother' added The Lord, 'and I love him more than anybody in the world.

'I've been around with him and helping out where he needs help and kind of showing him the ropes of what it's going to be like to be a new dad.'

Scott also opened up about the close bond he has with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, even though he and Kourtney are no longer together.

'We're all such a close-knit family that all of our kids are more like brother and sister and not just cousins. It's bigger than just cousins.'

Still family: Rob and Scott partied with pal's at Khloe Kardashian's birthday party at an arcade in Hollywood last month. 'Rob is like my brother,' Scott said

'We all live within each other's lives, so yeah, it's like everyone is like everybody's [child].

'So it's not going to be different when Rob & Chyna have their kid, that's going to be a sister or a brother to my kids.'

While Scott seemed to indicate that all was well within the Kardashian family, Rob recently caused a stir on social media after deleting all his Instagram photos following a fight with his future wife.

The pair are said to have fallen out after he discovered suspicious messages on her phone, but are now back on track.

Blac also has a son, King Cairo, whom she shares with Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Tyga.
