  • Their proposal aired Monday evening on The Bachelorette finale
  • At the After The Rose special, she said it has been 'difficult' the past weeks
  • On Tuesday morning the two looked in love as they appeared on GMA
  • He said they'll wed in 2017 and she added the nuptials could air on TV

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers were thrilled to be able to go public with their romance on Monday night after keeping their engagement under wraps for months.

And it seems some of their fans are just as excited as they are.

When the Bachelorette couple appeared on Good Morning America in New York City on Tuesday, a young girl was spotted screaming with glee in the background.

Fan-demonium: One Bachelorette fan couldn't contain her excitement at being in such close proximity to Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher on Good Morning America

The girl's jaw nearly hit the floor as she snapped photos of JoJo and Jordan, while the pair obliviously posed for the cameras while standing right in front of her.

During their sit down, the beauty admitted that they have already talked about their wedding.

Jordan said the big day will be 'next year sometime' but no date has been selected. And JoJo added 'there's always a chance' they could wed in front of ABC cameras.

The beauty wore a nude colored sleeveless dress and strappy heels. She looked overjoyed at being by Jordan's side.

'It feels so good,' JoJo told GMA about spending time with her fiance.

'It’s so surreal,' Rodgers offered. 'It feels like it took forever, and now it seems like it flew by. It’s really weird.'

As far as the wedding date, Jordan said: 'Next year sometime. We’re throwing around some dates.'

But he has said he would not mind eloping, according to Fletcher.

'He keeps saying, "Let’s go to Vegas," and I’m like, "We’re going to plan this one,"' she said.

Fletcher said she does plan to take Rodgers’ last name when they wed.

And the star also went out of her way to flash her Neil Lane engagement ring, which Life & Style Weekly has said is worth a staggering $80,000.

The beauty accepted the proposal and has been hiding it to keep the engagement a secret.

But on the emotional After The Final Rose ceremony, the looker proudly wore the number for the first time in public.

She oohed and ahhed at it and Jordan also took another look at the diamond that he hand selected with the help of Lane, as is customary on the ABC reality show.

As far as how she and Jordan are doing, JoJo admitted on Monday to their relationship has been 'very difficult' since their fairytale engagement shown on The Bachelorette finale.

They both awkwardly spoke to host Chris Harrison about the tough times they have faced since the proposal - while drawing short of saying they were close to breaking up.

'I'll be honest - it's been difficult,' JoJo, 25, admitted, shocked that they have not had the support other couples on the show usually receive.

'The media - the tabloids, the rumors - they've been terrible,' she said, clearly upset.

'There's been many nights I've cried myself to sleep and he's been the person on the phone with me just trying to keep me OK, and I think it's been really hard for him.

'Because at this point we can't defend each other, we can't show our love, we can't show our relationship, so that's been tough,' JoJo said.

She added: 'The hardest part for me is having people say, ''He doesn't really love you, this is for show'' - that hurts me. Not because I think it's true but it's just hard to have that kind of on you when it should be a really amazing time in your life.'

Later, she again admitted: 'I don't want to sugarcoat it - it's been very difficult.'

As for the headlines - with Chris throwing some up on a screen for viewers to see, including one calling Jordan a 'fraud' - JoJo said: 'What I have learned is I can't read this garbage. I can't let it affect my relationship. Because he's done nothing to give me a reason.

'He was there for me when I needed him,' she added.

Jordan, 27, meanwhile insisted: 'I promised on that day that no matter what life throws at us we're going get over that

'So it's been difficult, but it's what we expected. We expected bumps. But she's the person I want to do it with and do life with,' Jordan said.

The couple revealed they have a house they are moving into together in Dallas - with Chris, a local, teasing Jordan he would 'make a Cowboys fan out of you yet'.

They also said they're considering dates for a wedding sometime next year.

Just as it seemed impossible to get any more awkward, Chris then asked about Jordan's tense, broken relationship with his estranged brother, NFL star Aaron Rodgers.

After Jordan gave a rambling answer, JoJo admitted that the relationship is just as broken as it was previously, insisting sadly: 'It's not the focus for us. It's about us.'

'We've got furniture to buy, we've got lots on the list,' Jordan smiled, trying to change the subject.

But the host wouldn't let it drop, insisting he still hopes the show will bring him and his brother together - and making the couple visibly wince as he told them: 'Hopefully Aaron can make it to the wedding!'

They then had yet another awkward moment as they were addressed by Ben Higgins, the man who broke JoJo's heart on The Bachelor, to address them as he sat beside Lauren Bushnell, the woman he picked instead of her.

'Just stay strong through the criticism and support each other,' he told them. 'Love each other well.'

JoJo earlier also had to confront runner-up Robby Hayes, 27, for the first time since she dumped him in Thailand.

'I did love you but no matter how I was feeling for you, my heart always was with Jordan,' she told him.

'I was in love with Jordan - I was madly in love with him - and I think with us I loved you and our love was so great but it wasn't that love that I wanted for the rest of my life.

'I'm happy and I think everything ended up the way it was supposed to,' JoJo said.

Robby insisted he was still pleased to finally be told she loved him, even though it came seconds before he was dumped.

He got loud applause when he said: 'I have this undeniable care for her, and in caring for her like I do, all I want is for you to be happy.

'If you are happy like you just said then I am content - I'm happy for you.'
