'AUGUST 4TH, we #RISE': Katy Perry shared a second teaser for her upcoming music video for Rise on Monday
Determined: The 26-second clip showed the star fighting back against the pull of a large, pink parachute
Katy can be seen struggling against a parachute in the short clip, as it begins with close shots of her feet as she walks, and her hands as she tugs on the strings.
She looks to be catching her breath as she at one point crawls on all fours, still attached to the parachute.
There are also shots of the billowing, pink parachute surrounding Katy, after what looked to have been a difficult, water landing.
Crash landing: The video looked to have the star suffering a difficult parachute landing, finding herself tangled as she fell into water
Struggling: Brief flashes from the video saw Katy struggling against the fabric under water
Barely visible: At first she was barely even visible from underneath the water's surface
Her music begins to play, as she is seen running, before the force of the wind in the parachute pulls her backwards and off of her feet.
She angrily punches her hands into the parachute, and lets out a scream as another shot has her dangling in the air, with the parachute stuck on the side of a massive cliff.
Amid her struggle, the song kicks in, with the star powerfully singing: 'Just fight it, just fight it/Don't be surprised, I will still rise.'
Nothing is going to stop her: However, she had a determined look in her eye as she continued to fight, despite the force of the parachute working against her
Not quite: Katy had tried running as the parachute was attached to her back, but as it caught some wind it just picked her up with it
Up, up, and away! Katy could be seen floating in the air as the parachute pulled her
The single has continued to grow in popularity since its release on July 14, currently holding down the number 11 spot on Billboard's The Hot 100.
The newly-released single - shared ahead of Katy's upcoming fourth album - is set to be used as NBC's official song for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
When she released the song, Katy had shared a statement, saying: 'I know that together we can rise above the fear – in our country, and around the world. I can’t think of a better example than the Olympic athletes, as they gather in Rio with their strength and fearlessness, to remind us how we ALL can come together, with the resolve to be the best we can be.'
Fighting back: The star punched the fabric away from her face in another scene
Frustrated: She screamed as she dangled from the parachute while her song played to the inspirational tune of: 'Just fight it, just fight it/Don't be surprised, I will still rise'
