Attraction — or lack thereof — has been a major concern for many of the couples featured on Married at First Sight, so it's unsurprising that Sonia Granados and her groom Nick Pendergrast are both worried that their psychical appearance will disappoint the other.

On Tuesday night's episode of the FYI reality series, Sonia, 33, and and Nick, 32, will meet for the first time at the altar. But before the wedding, Nick admits he is worried that his bride will be turned off by his appearance at first glance.

'My biggest fear honestly is my wife seeing me on the altar and walk in the other direction,' he explains in a preview clip for the episode.

At the start of the clip, Nick is feverishly rubbing his hands against each other as he stands at the altar in front of Sonia's family and friends.

'I am about to marry a stranger, and this is probably the most important day in my life. I'm nervous. I'm scared,' he tells the camera.

'My heart's beating. If I was wearing my Apple watch, I would be able to tell you my beats per minute and it would probably be higher than its ever been,' he adds.

And while Nick is sweating it out at the altar, Sonia is freaking out as she prepares for her walk down the aisle.

'If I am not attracted to him at all, I hope he has a really frickin' good personality,' she adds.

While it's clear that Nick is on edge when he asks the officiant how much longer he has until she comes, he says he also believes he is ready to find his one and only someone.

'The one thing I am missing in my life is a partner to share everything [with],' he tells the camera. 'I am definitely ready to be married.'

And while Nick is freaking out, one of the guests is heard saying that 'he looks like a very nice boy', which may be a good sign for Sonia, who is panicking behind the scenes.

'Oh my god, this is crazy. This is really happening It's happening right now,' she says. 'I'm very nervous. Just nerves. Just a whole lot of nerves.

'It is the most important day of my life so far for sure. I am ready to meet my husband.'

And while her reaction won't be revealed until tonight's episode, Sonia told Daily Mail Online before the show's premiere that she was 'pleasantly' surprised when she saw her husband because she initially thought she was saying 'I do' to the 50-something officiant'.

She went on to say that she thought he was attractive and had good style because he 'had really good shoes on' at their wedding.

However, another clip from tonight's episode shows that Sonia is worried that he is disappointed in her appearance.

'I don't know if my husband is attracted to me,' she says.

'Sleeping with a stranger is going to be a bit awkward,' she later adds of their first night as a married couple.
