Real Daisy Dukes! Vanessa Hudgens shows off her toned legs in denim shortalls with cute flower design

She'll soon appear on TV as an employee at an insurance company.

Yet Vanessa Hudgens looked anything but corporate on Wednesday afternoon.

The 27-year-old was photographed heading to her car in Los Angeles, wearing daisy-covered shortalls that exuded her folksy charm - but still let her flaunt her impressively toned legs.

Look fresh as a daisy in denim dungarees like Vanessa

There is nothing like a pair of denim overalls to achieve that youthful, 'borrowed from the boys' look.

This throwback classic is a perfect look for summer. Casual, easy, and stylish. But when paired with more mature accessories like Vanessa's off-the-shoulder top, chic straw hat and nude booties-- this childhood wardrobe stable becomes something entirely new and glamorous.

Vanessa opted for an all-in-one by Cotton:On-- an affordable US based retailer that sells everything from clothing to housewares. But sadly her denim dungarees are now sold out.

That being said, we've rounded up some of the next best options in our edit below. All of which will give you that effortless and youthful look instilled in denim overalls.

The Spring Breakers actress pulled the denim number over a white short-sleeved crop top with splotches of sheer fabric.

A floppy straw hat from Hat Attack and loose hair obscured much of her face, but Grease: Live's Rizzo was still unmistakable.

The Salinas native recently put in an appearance at Comic-Con to promote her forthcoming DC Comics series Powerless.

The High School Musical star will lead the NBC sitcom as a member of a company that cleans up the chaos superheroes leave in their wake.

At Comic-Con, she told Entertainment Weekly 'I feel like a lot of the superhero shows are always about the superheroes.

'But what about the other people who are trying to live their lives while these superheroes are having these epic battles?' she said. 'What happens afterwards?'

NBC screened the pilot at the convention to a promising response, with The Nerdist declaring, 'I LOVE THIS,' and IGN calling it 'very endearing and amusing.'

Powerless will premiere on NBC next year.
