Ryan Giggs looks worse for wear as he heads home from London nightclub in a rare public appearance since split from wife Stacey

He embarked on a high-profile split from his wife Stacey back in April.

And now it seems Ryan Giggs is getting himself back out there, having been spotted leaving a night club in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Welsh football coach, 42, looked a little worse for wear in the back of his taxi as he left Bodo's Schloss night club in Kensington, evidently after a boozy night on the town as a newly-single man.

He reportedly left the alpine-themed restaurant and club via the back door at 2am, before getting into his taxi to head home alone. 

Ryan, dressed in a simple white t-shirt, blue blazer and jeans, seemed a little jaded from his big night out as he rested his head back in the comfort of the cab, eyes beginning to close. 

The solo outing marks one of his only public sightings since the announcement of his split with wife of fifteen years, Stacey, back in May.

Stacey finally called it quits on her 15 year marriage to the footballer after his reportedly flirty behaviour with a waitress at a restaurant in their home town Worsley, Manchester, was the last straw.

She had previously stood firmly by Ryan after endless infidelity rumours since their 2007 wedding, including highly-publicised affairs with his sister-in-law Natasha Giggs and Imogen Thomas - the affair which he spent £150,000 on to keep quiet. 

The couple have two children together and are said to have managed to work through his commitment issues, until the event a few months ago.

Stacey has reportedly marked the end of her marriage to footballer husband by getting a new tattoo reading 'Free' emblazoned on her skin last week.

Sources tell The Sun that Stacey headed to the tattooists on Tuesday to have the word inked upon her neck, surrounded by four symbolic birds.

The source said of her new artwork: 'Stacey got it done on Tuesday and even though it was pretty painful, she’s really pleased with it.

'Most of the time it will be out of view but if she wants to give Ryan a reminder of his appalling behaviour, then all she has to do is put her hair in a bobble.' 

The inking could be an indication that Stacey is beginning to move on, having been pictured looking tearful and distressed as she left a nightclub in Manchester with Gary Neville's wife Emma soon after the split.

Sportsman Ryan is now facing one of the largest sporting divorce payouts in British history, as experts say Stacey may be entitled to half his £40million fortune.

Earlier this month, the Manchester United star's womanising ways were criticised and humiliated publicly, after his £2million mansion was targeted by vandals who spray-painted 'cheating t**t' along its lengthy fence.

Only worsening his reputation as a serial ladies man, television personality Katie Price recently claimed that she too was the recipient of the footballer's attention during his relationship with Stacey.

The glamour model described Giggs as 'charming' and 'intense' when she recalled their encounter on Loose Women.

She said: 'Years ago I met Ryan, and I felt like he was flirting with me. But it was a different kind of flirting, he was very quiet, charming, but intense.'
