Angelina Jolie 'takes new role as visiting professor at Georgetown University to give lectures on women, peace and security'
Her power to draw in the crowds at the box office is undeniable.
But as a passionate humanitarian, Angelina Jolie will be hoping to fill lecture halls this fall as it's been revealed the actress will be teaching a class at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
In May the 41-year-old actress announced she'd be teaching at the prestigious London School of Economics for the fall term, which is the sister institution to Georgetown.
Multi-talented: It seems Angelina Jolie is continuing to expand her work outside of Hollywood, as it was revealed on Friday that the Tomb Raider star will be teaching a class at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in the fall
According to a source for Us Weekly, Angelina's topics will include 'women, peace and security,' all subjects on which she's focused her activism around the world.
When her first teaching gig was announced in the spring, Angelina issued a statement clarifying the reasons for moving into academia.
'It is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women's rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict,' she proclaimed.
She added: 'I am looking forward to teaching and learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.'

The course, which is apparently the first of it's kind, will also be administered by former U.K. foreign secretary William Hague.
Back in the spring, there were hints that a partnership may be on the horizon when Georgetown University Institute for Women, Peace and Security director Melanne Verveer made a statement expressing interest in a collaboration with the duo.
'I was pleased to meet with Angelina Jolie during my recent trip to London on ways we at Georgetown University can continue the collaboration between our sister programs on both sides of the Atlantic,' she revealed.
Lofty goals: The 41-year-old actress announced back in May that she'll also be teaching at the prestigious London School of Economics for the fall term, which also happens to be a sister institution to Georgetown (pictured here interacting with Syrian and Iraqi refugees)
'We look forward to welcoming Angelina and former foreign secretary Hague to Georgetown in the future,' she continued.
It seems Angelina's class expansion may signal a new direction for the Changeling star, who may be looking to lessen her involvement in Hollywood.
She recently decided to pass on a major role in the upcoming remake of the classic Murder On The Orient Express, and will reportedly be replaced by Charlize Theron.
