GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Billie removes Laurence from under her skin as actress ditches ex-husband's tattoo

Billie Piper is erasing all memories of her marriage to Laurence Fox – literally – as she removes a tattoo of his name and their wedding date from her arm.

After keeping a dignified silence about their divorce – which was finalised in May – Billie made a point at the first night of her new play Yerma last week by wearing a short-sleeve T-shirt dress that clearly showed the tattoo is gradually being expunged.

She had previously always kept her left arm covered up after admitting she thought the inking was ‘vulgar’.

Billie, 33, and Laurence, 38, split acrimoniously in March. Since then, he has been publicly sniping at her, once describing their split as like ‘losing a hamster’.

In June, Laurence covered over a tattoo on his forearm of her name and their wedding date – December 2007 – with a cartoon fox.

Determined Billie has gone for the far more painful option of having her tattoo erased altogether with laser treatment, a process that can take months and cost thousands.

But Billie is still left with a reminder of her ill-fated marriage to Laurence.

Her wedding band may be gone, but her husband’s surname FOX is still visible on her ring finger which she had inked on in 2011.

Of course, she could just try a neat play on words and add a Y…

The people behind the Kingsman spy movies don’t scrimp when it comes to choosing locations.

The first, released in 2014, used Savile Row tailor H. Huntsman & Sons – where suits start at £3,000 and clients have included Edward VII.

Now I can reveal that scenes in the sequel – out next year – are being shot at the Queen’s wine merchants, 300-year-old Berry Bros & Rudd.

My spies have seen actors Channing Tatum and Mark Strong filming outside the St James’s Street shop. Let’s hope Her Majesty’s Lafites are kept safe!

Good news for fans of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel films – a TV series of hour-long episodes could be in the pipeline.

I gather that Blueprint Pictures, the firm behind the hit movies of 2011 and 2015, are in talks to fill Downton’s Sunday night slot on ITV.

My sources say Dame Judi Dench who starred in the movies, has expressed an interest.

When I phoned Blueprint to ask about the series, a spokesman panicked and hung up – a sure sign that something is afoot.
