Just the ticket! Michelle Keegan looks zesty in lemon as she takes a break from the Coronation Street cobbles

Michelle Keegan enjoyed a temporary reprieve from the Weatherfield cobbles on Wednesday when she stepped out for a spot of lunch in Manchester.

The 26-year-old actress was spotted paying a parking meter shortly after leaving Granada Studios, where she’d been filming scenes as feisty Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street.

Dressed in a sleeveless lemon yellow top, blue skinny jeans and flip-flops, Michelle looked mildly perplexed as she fed coins into the meter before heading off for a bite to eat.

The actress had a large black handbag with her as she strolled off, eventually returning with a fruit smoothie and a white paper bag containing her lunch.

With current boyfriend Mark Wright spending lengthy periods of time in Australia while he films new show Wright off the Beaten Track, Michelle has had plenty of alone time of late – and she’s clearly been making the most of it.

Indeed, last month the actress turned heads when she travelled down to London for a close pal’s birthday bash.

After arriving at the Mayfair party in a stylish black dress accessorized with a statement necklace from TopShop, Michelle cheerfully posed for photos before heading into popular nightspot Mahiki, where she stayed until the early hours of the morning.

A week later she was out again, this time in an equally stylish white number, when she made an appearance at Hush nightclub in Dublin while Mark relaxed at his Essex home.

The couple started dating in January, six-months after Michelle’s relationship with The Wanted star Max George came to an end.
