The 35-year-old supermodel made a show-stopping appearance in a white lace-up pencil skirt with thigh-high slit.

'To be able to live here and see the culture and live the culture here, it’s very Brazil. It’s where Samba began and you really can feel that. You can feel the warmth of the people.

'Right now at the Olympic Games, it’s all there, plus the whole world gets to experience it. To be able to hear all kinds of languages being spoken on the beach and see everybody’s having a great time going to the Games and watching the Opening Ceremony. It’s the place to be right now.'

She also shared her fond memories of watching the Olympic Games as a child.

'I remember the Women’s Basketball Team winning when I was a little girl. And it was so good. You get the whole family together, and to watch that on TV was incredible.

'Yesterday, I was watching it live and you can’t even describe the feeling watching it live and being like…“Brazil!”'

Now watching the Games in person, she's already picked up a few pointers she can incorporate into her daily life.

'I love playing beach volleyball. So when I saw it yesterday, I saw what they were doing and the special glasses that they have. So I saw the tricks. And they do all the signs behind their back. So hopefully I’ll go back to the States and play better beach volleyball.'
