She has been enjoying the single life by dating a cavalcade of toy boys.

But Sharon Stone may have opted for an altogether heftier challenge after she was spotted walking with a he-man sidekick in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The obliging muscleman was even happy to carry the Basic Instinct star's shopping bags, no doubt in a bid to curry favour with the blonde beauty.

Catwoman favourite Sharon, 58, was looking great for age, even though she adopted a dressed down fashion mode of black T-shirt, striped trousers and flip flops.

But it may have been the erotic movie legend was dressing to put her butch walking companion at ease, for he also went for an extremely casual ensemble of white jeans, Sketcher-style shoes and a grey T-shirt.

Still, the latter did have the added benefit of allowing the balding beefcake to show off his bulging biceps and impressively pumped chest, no doubt the result of years of hard work at the gymnasium.

The Sliver favourite, who infamously falsely claimed for years to be a member of genius society Mensa, certainly seemed to be enjoying the view, for she could hardly wipe a wide grin from her face as she pranced along beside her hunk.

Sharon has shown a love for men of the weedier variety in recent times, dating two toyboys in a row in the form of Wizards Of Waverly Place actor David DeLuise, 44, and Argentine model Martin Mica, who even more impressively is 30 years her junior.

Her dalliances with younger men seem to have given her confidence, for in 2013 she claimed women get better as they get older.

She said: 'As women, we understand our bodies, and there’s a blossoming that occurs (with sex).'

Sharon has said her disastrous six-year marriage to former San Francisco Chronicle executive editor Phil Bronstein is one of the reasons she has stayed unmarried since their divorce back in 2004.
