'No more shows and I have to stay put': Ruby Rose apologises to fans for cancelling tour dates due to tonsillitis

She has been enjoying a mixture of work and play in Spain. 

But it seems Ruby Rose, 30, may have pushed herself a little too hard, as she has been forced to cancel several of her shows after falling ill with tonsillitis.

The actress and DJ, who has been touring Europe for nearly a month, shared a snap on Instagram of herself standing in a high-end Vondom planter on Saturday, telling her followers she had tonsillitis and apologised for having to cancel several shows.

'Tonsilitis [sic] and unable to fly because of the pain it's causing my ears,' she wrote alongside a sad face.

'Means no more shows and I have to stay put before returning home.'

Adding: 'Sorry guys. I didn't even know you could get tonsilitis [sic] after like, 16.'

In the photo, Ruby can be seen standing inside what appears to be a large abstract sculpture of a face. 

Her toned torso was on full display as she sported only a skimpy bikini top, showing off her taut stomach and bronzed skin. 

Many of her extensive collection of tattoos were also visible. 

The Orange Is The New Black star has been kicking back between shows with old friends and girlfriend Harley Gusman.

Ruby and her posse have been snapped lapping up the Spanish sun during many fun-filled days on the water. 

She has also shared several photos from a luxurious-looking villa with a pool. 

The brunette posted two photos of herself on Friday, channelling a very different vibe than her usual rock-chic look.

She was donning a long white wig, 70s-inspired round-framed shades and a dainty flower crown.

She captioned one of the images: 'Went full disguise to Ibiza town today..' 

The Melbourne-born beauty also shared a video of Harley tending to her after suffering a jellyfish sting.

Her incredibly toned figure was on full display in a white and black bikini, as she tensed her muscles and winced at the pain. 

Harley and Ruby were first spotted on a sushi date in Hollywood on June 11, and the couple have not been shy about flaunting their new found love since.

They have both shared various snaps to Instagram of each other and were also seen packing on the PDA at Taylor Swift's Fourth of July party last month.

Most recently, Harley has been pictured enjoying the Spanish getaway with Ruby, supporting her as she plays shows and kicking back in their downtime. 

Harley, 24, owns her own skincare company, Truly Organic and Ruby appears to be completely infatuated with the stunner.

The steamy new romance comes after the tattooed Australian announced her split from long-term partner Phoebe Dahl in December last year.

The pair were engaged for 20 months before calling it quits.

At the time, Ruby took to social media to share her feelings: 'Phoebe remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together. I'm a better person because of the time we shared.'
