Kris Jenner's betrayal revealed: Ruthless momager went behind Kanye West's back to try to negotiate Adidas deal for Kylie Jenner before secretly signing Puma contract 

Kanye West was furious to find out that Kylie Jenner had inked a deal with Puma - after his mother-in-law Kris went behind his back to first try and negotiate a deal with Adidas.

The latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians showed the rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian fuming at the news Kylie had secretly signed a Puma contract while having dinner in Cuba.

The 39-year-old, whose own negotiations with Adidas could have been compromised after Kris ruthlessly contacted the brand in secret, compared it to if he used their family show to help him land his own reality TV series to air at the same time.

‘So they offered me a deal and I like did it and didn’t tell none of y’all and brought all of my cool friends, Like now it’s Jay-Z, Beyonce, all on the show,’ he pointed out as a comparison to how he felt cheated.

‘I don’t agree with going against the family in that way. I think Kylie, whoever, should have presented it to Kanye first,' Khloe Kardashian said.

But family momager Kris Jenner instead got her a deal with key rival Puma - without saying a word to her daughter and son-in-law who only found out when it became public and Kylie, 18, had already posed in a modeling shoot.

Kim, 35, and Kanye were just as angry that she had first tried to get Kylie her own deal with Adidas behind their back - potentially risking negotiations Kanye was having at the time to renew his own deal.

Kanye had long seen Kim’s younger sister as a brand icon of Adidas, using her to model for his Yeezy line for the brand and trying to sign her up too.

In February, the rapper admitted that he had no idea Kylie had teamed up with Puma, admitting that when he found out he was 'mad for a little bit', but adding that he was happy for his sister-in-law.

Kanye had earlier gone on an epic Twitter rant aimed at Puma after rumours that she had signed a seven-figure deal with them.

The All Of The Lights hit-maker took aim at the German company as he wrote to his 18.4 million followers: '1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That's on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!'

He went on to post: 'Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!'

In Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim angrily confronted her mother for ‘blindsiding’ her husband with the big-money deal she got for Kylie after returning from Cuba. 

She told her mom how numerous friends had approached her and asked: ‘“Oh my God, was Kanye so p***ed when your mom did that deal for Kylie? Like, I would die if that were me.”’

Kris initial kept her business hat on, telling her daughter it ‘goes with the territory of wearing all these different hats and being mom and manager’ and how her priority is getting deals that are ‘the best first for each one of my clients.’

She further angered her daughter when she claimed: ‘Sometimes it’s about a business decision which is completely not personal.’

‘Well, sometimes when you’re dealing with family it’s not really about a business decision,’ Kim shot back.

‘She was the model that he wanted over everyone. He saw Kylie and was, “She has to be my Yeezy model.” I would have just liked the heads up.’

After a long pause, reality seemed to hit Kris, who looked downcast before admitting: ‘Well… sometimes I get ahead of myself too. And sometimes I forget to communicate the way I maybe should. So I feel bad - but it wasn’t intentional.’

‘Yeah, totally,’ Kim conceded, later insisting ‘just glad my mom understands where I’m coming from’ and would warn them first if something similar were to happen again.

While Kris came around to Kim’s point, she could not stop herself from a sly dig at her daughter who has achieved immense fame and fortune despite the usual star talents.

‘It’s not like you could sing or dance - we made the best of it, but it got us to here,’ Kris smiled at her daughter, who had herself admitted throughout the episode at how terrible she is at dancing.

She even admitted that one of her biggest early fights with Kanye was over her not dancing at his concerts - and how she was terrified at having to stand next to Beyonce at concerts because she knew the superstar’s sexy moves would show her up.

Kim - who was once famously thrown off stage by Prince for not dancing - admitted when she finally was with Beyonce at their husbands’ joint tour, the singer tried to get her to the moshpit, telling her to ‘let loose, just dance,’ and Kim thought: ‘My life is over!’

She insisted she ‘hates’ dancing, adding: ‘I did not dance on Dancing With The stars - I did not dance, OK?’

Kanye was also worried that his wife was going to miss being with their family on Mother’s Day as she was due in New York, asking his wife sarcastically at the same dinner: ‘Are we going with you or you just don’t wanna see your husband and children on Mother’s Day?’

She later managed to push back the shoot she had scheduled so she could at least spend the morning with them, with Kanye surprising her with a small ‘orchestra’ to wake her up at home.

‘It was honestly, like, the sweetest thing ever,’ Kim smiled.

Khloe’s trip to Havana was continually marred by her fears that estranged husband Lamar Odom, who almost died in a drug binge, would go off the rails again while she was away.

‘I feel bad that I’m letting the issues at home trickle into my Cuba trip. But I finally got in touch with Lamar and he sounds great - almost too good,’ she admitted.

Her best friend Malika Haqq justified her feelings in that he has ‘given you reason for concern,’ and said of his near death episode: ‘Everything is out in the open now so there is no secret to what he could potentially do again.’

‘So crazy,’ Khloe sighed, adding: ‘Even his drinking alone is so bothersome to me and it makes me so furious because he can’t be drinking. It hasn’t even been one year.’

Back home she soon called him to check in, with Malika teasing him that he ‘breathes like a 600-pound fat man’ - but accepted she was going to have to start stepping back.

Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick, meanwhile, had wanted to go with them but left it too late to get a visa - and was struck by a bad case of FOMO, or fear of missing out.

‘I heard in Cuba there is literally no cell service, but of course the girls happened to figure out how to get the internet,’ he said, saying their pictures gave him ‘a serious case of FOMO for Cuba.’

But he made up for it by bringing Cuban food for Kylie and Kris, who also stayed home - and got French Montana to join them all in a car ride in a vintage Cuban car.

‘If I can’t go to Cuba, I’m bringing Cuba to me!’ he laughed.

Once home, the girls threw them all a Cuban themed-party to make them feel involved, with Kim this time claiming she ‘threw out my back’ as her excuse not to dance with everyone.

Kris, meanwhile, felt it was ‘a testament to how Scott is changing in a great way’ that he spent the time with her and Kylie rather than escaping to go wild with his male friends as he always used to do when Kourtney was away.

Given that social media has been one of the key ways they found fame, one of the biggest ironies is how they all loved not having cell service in Cuba.

‘The first day I got off the plane I was like, “Oh my God!” No service - I was a little freaked out,’ Khloe admitted. ‘But that’s why everyone is so calm and cool and relaxed,’ she said, saying that it was ‘super nice and enjoyable.’

’Nobody was on their phones a dinner. Everybody was actually paying attention,’ Kourtney agreed.

But the lesson was short-lived, with Kourtney overheard asking for wi-fi on the plane as it took off - and Khloe spending most of the night at the Cuban party back home staring at her phone, even though they were supposed to have been handed in for the duration.
