A male passenger on board a Gatwick Express Service to London Victoria has been killed after being decapitated by a speeding train when he stuck his head out of the window. Police and ambulance crews rushed to Wandsworth Common station in south west London after reports suggested a man had been struck by a train. Horrified witnesses claimed the man, who has not been identified, died after he was beheaded while looking out of a window. An air ambulance landed nearby but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. We treated a patient at the scene for a head injury. But sadly, despite the efforts of the crews, the patient was pronounced dead by the doctor from the air ambulance.'
