But world-class athletes may have found themselves faced with some stiff competition for the attention of their audience when Alessandra Ambrosio arrived, baring her exceptionally toned midriff in a tight blue Rio crop top.

The 35-year-old was bound to have all eyes on her when she headed out to watch the beach volleyball competition with her two children Anja, seven, and Noah, four, in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.

Being a Brazil native, Alessandra was very much a part of the celebrations on Friday before and during the Opening Ceremony for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

She did a stint carrying the Olympic torch and strutted her stuff across the enormous arena in what the model said would be her last catwalk.
